@WWEgames had a mini Ask Me Anything session on Twitter this afternoon. I think there was confusion because they initially said there was going to be a Q&A today, but it looks as though it was pushed back to tomorrow. Even though it was more hype and less info, a few things came from it:

We have plans over the next few weeks! #WWE2K15 RT @Xvicxkwills555: @WWEgames so when are the next gen questions going to be answered?

Someone asked if they would disclose the full roster, which got this reply:

@NSW_360 no. The announced roster has been announced and there will be a few surprises that you will see when you play! #WWE2K15

So it appears there will be a huge information dump tomorrow, 10/24. The biggest take away is apparently the entire roster has been revealed but they are not giving away some of the roster and calling them "surprises" for when you play the game.

So be prepared, it looks like we will be getting some information on the last gen. game tomorrow.

Wonder if the surprises will come more in this gen or will the surpises will be the same on both generations...it'll be nice to see who they are as the last gen players get the game early.

Also this leaves the question...who do you think the surprises will be?

Maybe in the CM Punk-Cena showcase I could see the following

Bret Hart
Brad Maddox
(If he only had opted in) Mick Foley

The HBK-HHH showcase maybe the following:

Very very very doubtful but a Chris Benoit
Maybe all DX members

Again those are just guesses from my end

I've got to say that if the full roster is now revealed, I'm not getting this game. Most important factor for me (after gameplay) is the roster and legends that should be in there. I dont' follow wrestling nowdays (last owned wrestling game was 06 or 07) and it would be great to re-greate some old matches with legends. Now it looks like the roster isn't even near what it was in 2k14

While I totally agree with you here, I will still get the game, being the first WWE game on the new generation.

With that being said, it's hard to repeat over and over the roster. They can't get repitive with what they do. While I would like to see more legends and Attitude Era stars, it just can't really be done every year over and over.

I would love for a port over of WWE 2k13 to the current gen now.

Also what would be a cool option would be every other year 2K throws out a Legends game.

Don't see why they couldn't

Also a ruthless aggression era mode would be sweet if they could ever get the Hardy's and Dudley's signed back, but they will have to be out of TNA first.

Below are some initial thoughts by someone who was able to purchase the game already. In spoilers in case anyone doesn't want to stumble across the info.

I picked up my copy last night (anybody from Long Beach, CA knows where) and it is an exact carbon copy of 14. I'm not really mad as much as I am disappointed that they couldn't really be bothered to at least try and squeeze what they could out of the 360.

-replays have been removed (sometimes a post-match replay or after finisher replay is shown) but as far as saving them or viewing them after a match is gone.

-some moves are missing sound effects and some move sounds are delayed (a CM Punk knee drop lacked sound and a few body slam sounds were off a little).

-normal difficulty A.I. was so bad during my first match i thought all was lost (CPU Roman Reigns refused to do any offensive maneuvers for most of the match, he just stood there as if it didn't know what to do). After bumping it to Hard and tweaking the sliders a tad CM Punk mercilessly whooped me and I felt better.

-WWE servers for the game are not active yet so I could not yet check that out or the Shop.

-Sting is indeed a preorder bonus, not a packed in code for first runs, at least not from the store where I got my copy. No Sting for me but there is an insert letting you know that the WWE IOS card game is a thing.....

-it actually has a manual in the case, it's only 4 pages but it covers the basics.

-nothing has changed control-wise and to be honest I haven't seen any new animations yet.

-commentary is unchanged, same as it has always been, repetitive and recycled.

POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT TO FOLLOW:



-unlockables.......let's just say that about 90% of the unlockable attires are for Triple H and CM Punk.

That's about it for now after spending some time with it. I'm looking forward to the Xbox One version but really could have done without picking up the 360 version. I regret trading in the games I did to get this at the last minute but that's my own fault.

Not a bad game for people sticking with the 360 version but an unnecessary purchase for those like myself planning on getting the Xbox One version.
