Re: NBA LIVE 15 Review
No sure how much faith I have in this review other than it is one mans opinion, he basically said that live gameplay is better than 2k's, no offense but there are a lot of good even great aspects on Live 15 but they still still have work to do in the gameplay department.PSN=Coolcas7Comment

Re: NBA LIVE 15 Review
Your right it is one mans opinion and I'm sure when he wrote this review he played both games. But also no game is perfect, even the other game! Their game has been out a whole 3 weeks before Live and they are still having issues. What we all have to learn is competition is good if not great in the gaming world cause it forces companies to bring out better products every year and patches to fix their products. I played the other game and it's really good but still missing or haven't fixed stuff from 2yrs ago so I'll def be giving Live a shot this year.No sure how much faith I have in this review other than it is one mans opinion, he basically said that live gameplay is better than 2k's, no offense but there are a lot of good even great aspects on Live 15 but they still still have work to do in the gameplay department.Comment

I fondly remember playing NBA Live 2005. The addition of the All-Star Weekend Dunk Contest was the hype. The gameplay felt smooth. It was quite intuitive and not overly complicated. "It feels like a post-player’s dream, and dunking and lay-ups are the order of the day. If all I wanted to do was dunk, I’d boot up my PS2 and start up the Dunk Contest in NBA Live 2005"

Re: NBA LIVE 15 Review
From the outerhaven, I wonder what on earth he is playing:
If he'd play a bit more, he'd know that the Pop option is there, holding Pick down until you hit the screen, the screener will pop.Holding the right bumper (R1 on PS4) to initiate icon passing just doesn’t work. You can’t let it go, or you can’t icon pass, and may perhaps throw up a completely random alley-oop lob right to your opponent, or a really stupid shot that’s not even close to getting in. Pick controls are insane, as there are only two options, the slip, or the roll.
Can't icon pass? I've not had a single Icon pass not work.
And he's playing from the EA Access version, not including Day 1 patch. Good job, good effort. The reviewer called it upon what he played and 6 hours is long enough.Twitter - WTF_OS

As far as icon passingI think he's referring to how you have to hold the button down before pressing the button to pass. You can't just hit it to turn it on like 2K.From the outerhaven, I wonder what on earth he is playing:

I always respect others opinion but I don't have a clue as to what this guy played. Some of the things he mentioned makes me believe he just doesn't like Live period no matter what EA could have put out. To each his ownFrom the outerhaven, I wonder what on earth he is playing:

Re: NBA LIVE 15 Review
Personally, I prefer it that way. There are times in 2k where I press the icon passing button, but change my mind before passing. I don't always remember to press the button again and mess myself up. It doesn't happen often, but I get annoyed at myself when it does lol.Comment

Re: NBA LIVE 15 Review
I'm a little confused on the amount of dunks. I really haven't seen a lot of dunks at all, from my team or the CPU against me. If anything, I'm seeing too many three point attempts. They do attack the basket, but the paint physics seem to do their job as far as not allowing easy dunks through traffic. I would like to see some more mid-range pull-ups though.3.75 / 5

Re: NBA LIVE 15 Review
I definitely saw a lot of dunking during my time with the game, especially under the basket, I know WTF said they've toned it down though...
as far as these reviews go, first one was solid....not putting too much stock in the second though...Comment
