    Ranking the best receivers in the league.

    Hey guys!

    I just wanted to see everyone's opinion on this. Here is my list:

    #1. Calvin Johnson
    #2. Dez Bryant
    #3. Julio Jones
    #4. A.J. Green
    #5. Demaryius Thomas/Antonio Brown/Jordy Nelson

    Dez will probably end up with the least Yardage due to the new offensive scheme of the Cowboys. Julio will most likely end up with the most unless he get hurt.

    Jordy Nelson is playing the best out of any of them right now. Nobody can deny that.

      If I had the first pick in a WR draft the guy I would take is...

      Antonio Brown

      He's the most explosive WR in the league in my opinion

        Brown is certainly killing it this year, consistently and against all kinds of defenses.

          Same here. His ability to change directions and not lose speed, plus make every catch is ridiculous. He's not as physical as Calvin, DT or AJ, but he makes every play and is as good after the catch as anyone.

            If Julio Jones could learn to hold onto the ball he would easily be a top 5 we. Unfortunately he routinely drops the easiest of catches.

              I say the same thing about Julio that I say about Dez Bryant, he can be as good as he wants to be. He's that gifted. Just depends on how much he wants it.

                Am I the only one who hated the whole "what have you done for me lately" mantra when it comes to individual positions, especially at skill positions?

                  Andre Johnson forgotten already. Sad.

                    Makes sense when even Jones gets criticized for drops, he is the worst this year, especially in the endzone. Of course having a bad QB doesn´t help, too.

                    It´s scary to see how Brown is destroying everyone so far. Would put him ahead of Dez and Nelson.

                      I'll take Dez. Yes I'm 100% bias. It sucks that his stats are going to go down, but he's one of the most physically gifted athletes I've ever watched. Why we throw to anyone else in the red zone is beyond me. Total freak.

                        Calvin Johnson is the best because he's the whole package, but this next wave is pretty awesome.

                        Personally, I'm a big fan of Brown. He's so electric. Dez Bryant is a close second to me.

                          A.J. Green looks primed for a big game. He's not as physically gifted as Jones and Bryant, but he's so refined in terms of route-running, hand-eye coordination, balance, hands, etc. He could regain his #2 spot.

                          Who does he remind you of?

                          Julio=Andre Johnson

                          Dez=T.O.?

                            Antonio Brown is open all the time, and kills double teams.

                              Brown "struggles" against more physical CBs. Alot of Ben's/Brown's game is based on timing. Throw off the rhythm with a good jam at the line and its not there. Brown will still make some plays, but isnt quite as scary. I think Brown wouldve had some more issues if Vontae Davis didnt get hurt last game.

                              The only way to cover Brown consistently well is with a really good press man cover corner. He will tear up soft zone coverages all day and if you arent physical with him in man or dont have the same elite quickness, he will eat them up too.

                              That being said, I wouldnt trade Brown for anyone right now that isnt named Calvin Johnson....WR wise.
