for example if 2 teams offer peyton manning way less than his desired amount, and he gets no other offers, will he take one of them, or will he just decline both and stay a FA?

I have seen players decline low ball offers and end up in free agency.

In past Maddens, if you drastically low-balled a player in offseason free agency and he received no other offers, he would remain in free agency and not take your offer. I would hazard to guess this year's Madden works the same.

There's nothing preventing you from signing him during Preseason Week 1 to a one-year deal having failed to sign him in free agency, however.

update is i was able to lowball a bunch of guys. got peyton at less than half the cost he was wanting.

Saw this in my online league. Only one person put an offer on Andy Dalton. He got him for 4 yrs 850k smh

Ive personally had guys reject my offer when i offered more money, was a lil upset but kinda kept me in that zone of realness.. then had to re work my draft board.
