There is an out of bounds force field for sure but I have gone out of bounds in a few situations.

The types of game mistakes you wish the CPU would make when they had the ball.

But for some reason these things get programmed for the user and not the CPU.

    1) going for a rebound My player has spilled the ball and then chased it stepping out of bounds as he grabs it.

    2) I was just outside the lane running into the defensive force field of a cpu defender. One of my player was behind me spotted up for a 3. Perfect I thought, but as I passed it back the player turned sideways and appeared primed to dribble around the 3 pt arc. Except he stepped out of bounds while catching the pass.

    3) I stole it from the CPU but it went towards the top of the screen, a cpu player up there rammed into my cpu controlled player and knocked him out of bounds, the CPU player tried to pick up the loose ball but he was out of bounds

    4) I was coming down the lane and jumped to block the low post shooter but missed, luckily my PF blocked it but he blocked it into my player whose momentum had carried him out of bounds.

I have never seen the CPU go out of bounds or touch it out of bounds.

      There's an update.

Saw a new end of quarter animation where D Rose drew a foul. Uploading a clip.

I'm sitting hear laughing because I'm in total disbelief. I'm thinking about some of the baseline moves that I've done and the cpu and I/cpu never went OOB. It never dawned on me.

I still love the gameplay because the fun factor can't be denied. Hopefully EA can maybe tweak it so OOB becomes a factor?

Re: NBA Live 15 and First In-Game Update Available Today, Post Your Impressions

EA need to correct the problems with this game ASAP before people start calling this game NBA Street. Too much flash and highlight reel type of scores, very little actual substance. Think I'm kidding ? Next time you play the CPU, count how many times the CPU hit double clutch lay ups and circus shot looking lay ups IN TRAFFIC. Count many times you see the CPU throw an alley oop. You won't see the CPU throw an alley oop.

I'm still scratching my head of WHY EA made the hook shot the standard shot for the post. Says it right in the control list.

Tell me why you literally can push a guy out of the post all the way to the boundary invisible wall while he still constantly dribbling like an idiot sliding backwards. It usually will end up as a 5 second call against the CPU.

Tell me why if you just hold the L2 button you can ride the CPU ball handler hip all the way down the court, full court, just attached to their hip riding it the entire way.

So EA needs to make a choice. They either need to come out and say our game is NBA Street disguised as NBA Live or admit there are some major flaws in our game but we are working on smoothing all these rough edges out.

But they need to come out and make a public announcement and make it soon. Because if your game don't resemble the NBA you see on TV, then it don't matter how good your servers are. Makes me angry to be honest, because the game looks good, the lighting and atmosphere are great, shoe game is proper. But then you see all these arcade elements in it and you can't help to think of NBA Street.

Yeah, I'll agree, not an accurate assessment (more out of frustration), I just don't get how this could have been overlooked, this is a serious head scratcher.

At the rate the CPU hits 3's, it makes it impossible to even double team in the post off the wing. Deng hit 5 3's in a row against me when I took LBJ and went to double Bosh in the post. Frustrating.

Yeah there's still out of bounds in loose ball situations such as you described.

On another note, has anyone seen an illegal screen called? I see in the settings that it is an option, but I haven't seen one called yet. Could be because I'm still on the demo?

If the CPU is open I just quietly say dammit and get ready to inbound it. You know the result as you see the pass heading towards the open cpu player.

When I am open and have a great release I say dammit when it hits the rim and bounces right to a CPU rebounder. Or worse, the dreaded hit the rim and go over the top of the backboard.

Again, never seen the CPU have that happen to their shot.

The more I play the more I see the CPU do things (acrobatic) I am not sure I can do or I do things (mistakes) the CPU will never do.

Not called......Which is unfortunate because in the other game you see moving screens called often. Only fouls I seen called in Live 15 is blocking, shooting, reaching and charging. Too bad there is no foul slider for it.

Double teaming down low really isn't an option because chances are they will hit the 3 at a crazy clip. I cheat down a little and I still get burned. It has to be toned way down imo.

I'm not big on moving/changing a lot of sliders but in this game they have to included. We literally have no control over how we want the game to be. This Synergy better be good and real good at that.

Yeah, it's frustrating. And not only do the 3's go in at way too high of a rate, but when you double team like that, even if you recover enough to get a hand up, the CPU will shoot it every time. Every single time. It's almost like the game is coded to where the CPU automatically shoots if they have a couple feet of space in between them and the defender.

This, combined with the fact that the CPU won't sub this players in Dynasty mode if the user has subs on manual has really soured me on Live tonight. I hope some of these things can be patched.
