So if I have my subs set to manual, the CPU will never sub in/out their players? Their starting 5 will play the entire 48 mins?? If so, I would think they that they can patch it in. They have to patch it in. I mean, it's working correctly in other game modes outside of Dynasty, right?Last edited by rafaelpaolo84; 10-31-2014, 09:23 PM.Comment

Woah, what???? Man, I'm really trying to overlook a lot of this game's shortcomings - I'm already so disappointed that there are no gameplay sliders and player/roster editing for the second straight year - and now this?

The "right way" to fix the double team issue is to have the adjacent defender cheat over towards the offensive player left alone. A related issue though is that open 3's are made 95% of the time. That's much too high.

Leaving you with 9 idiots and you shuffle from your 1 player through the rest, herding them towards whatever you want done.
NBA live plays smarter D than fifa but not by a whole lot.
There seems to be zero defensive swap logic after you take a half court initial D form.
If you control the sg and pick up the PG before half court your d will swap.
But if you swap on the fly out of a double team the other player has no clue and just comes over where you are which is 90% of the reason why the CPU gets open looks on me. Swapping on cpu screens is a killer too. It's not even bad logic, it's absent logic, on the other end, the CPU D swaps pretty competently. So it can be coded.resident curmudgeonComment

They definitely tweaked game play with this update. This what I am noticing now:
1. More turn overs by the CPU. Bad passes, easier to steal from ball handlers.
2. Fast breaks has opened up a bit. Before I felt as though the CPU defenders caught up to you way too fast too often.
3. CPU misses more 3s. At halftime the Lakers are 2 for 7 from 3pt line.
4. CPU calls more time outs.
5. CPU runs have been severely toned down.
6. Tad bit more misses for lay ups and dunks in traffic. Before I rarely missed a dunk or lay up in traffic.
7. CPU does the spin move to the lane cheese quite a bit now. They really need to call charging on it because they literally run defenders over with their spin.
8. Bit more off ball movement. Still needs to be more though, but it is better then it was before.
9. Haven't seen a CPU big man attempt a hook shot in the post in the 1st half. They now do the spin move or pump fakes.Comment

I haven't seen all that.
I did see:
-More misses by the CPU in the paint (not including layups)
-More wide open 3s for the human due to less quick CPU rotations
-8 minutes quarters on Superstar, CPU Dallas shot 4/10 from 3 for 40%
-I still see big men hook shots. Plenty of them actually.
-Human shot release is the same. This is my biggest pet peeve.Comment

Gotmadskills,
You think #2 might be because they eliminated the hesitation hitch when you start the fast break?
I haven't played yet, just hoping that got cleaned up.
I like a lot of the possible changes you posted. Can't wait to try it out in a few.resident curmudgeonComment
