    Line Blocking

Has anyone paid attention to line blocking by position and noticed that any one particular position does the worst as far as A.I. mechanics?

For me it seems that the RG is the most likely position, regardless of player ratings and slider ratings, to be out of position, do absolutely nothing, slide way over to one side, usually the left side, and generally be out of position.

Is it just me or anyone else seen this or similar issues consistently with other positions?

    Re: Line Blocking

Seems going from "Slow" game speed to "Normal" on "All-Pro" helps a lot with line play and especially in keeping the RG where he should be.

I do the line blocking, but also noticed if you hold down R2 or L2 I think, and select pass block or run block according to the play you're running, it reacts much more differently than adjusting your line blocking, if that makes any sense.

Mainly both guards for me. Even with a good LG in Slauson (Bears, 89 OVR), he blatantly just watches people go past him and doesn't even try at times. My rookie LT will always at least try to block somebody. Stunts work well against human players I've noticed, but not against the CPU. Also, human OTs/RBs are horrible against picking up corner blitzes. CPU? Almost automatic.

Definitely the RG...1 of my friends plays with the Cowboys exclusively & Henry Melton beasts every game vs my RG
