Damn, I'd give a finger to watch Bundesliga.
Cannot wait till next season when FOX gets the rights in the USA.
I do all my watching via the internet.

Will put those settings in. I'll post here when I stream. Going to watch the game with a friend so afterward. Well maybe Ill turn the stream on now and do some play with him. I think it'll be fun to see someone who doesn't play as much try the sliders. He's a semi-pro default kinda guy haha

      Krebstar's thoughts on Matt10's version 7:
Matt, really enjoying this. I'm messing around with Line Width at 20 right now, and it's producing some great things. Maybe it's too compressed, but it definitely creates what you see in real games, which is a more clogged center, and more space on the wings.
This pleases me, as something I did last year to help improve my team's defense was have a very low width set in my custom tactics. I think the tighter width will help keep attackers from darting right through openings.

Re: FIFA 15 OS Community Sliders

Anyone else bump into this with OP sliders?

I was playing Meinz away, and they had super aggressive tactics with home team momentum. I restarted the match around 20 times to try to keep them from scoring first. Couldn't do it.

I then tried with default sliders and managed better.

When I play against aggressive teams I use a lot of face-up dribbling to make room, and pass a lot. When I played with OP sliders Meinz were both able to catch up with my dribbling players and intercept the passes. I could not escape my own half, even with dribblers like Reus and Kagawa. I have never experienced this before. Is there something in the current combination of acceleration, speed, pass speed etc. that is making this happen?

Edit. I am playing on full manual settings with Dortmund.

Re: FIFA 15 OS Community Sliders

I haven't updated my sliders since I've been using Matt10's version 10 legendary beta set I think it was. I have been having consistently great games.

I have been using these slider with world class, slow and semi assisted. Don't get much time to play but I have been trying some real fixtures. Such as last weekend:

Arsenal vs Sunderland - 2-0 in real life and in fifa I won 2-0 with arsenal.
Southampton vs Stoke - 1-0 in real life and I won 1-0 too with saints
Man city vs West ham - Not quite to freak result as last weekend as I lost 2-1 with west ham though it was a fight to the end.

I have felt that scoring is more difficult and the game is much slower and more physical. Perhaps a little sluggish but I will try some new settings. Playing lower teams then you is not so difficult while playing equal or higher teams is realistically difficult.

          Some games I played today...
Real madrid vs Athletico - I dominated but couldn't finish only being 1-0 up till they had a man sent off and I was able to exploit this and score two late goals.

Dortmund vs Munich - I won 3-2 after extra time as dortmund. I saved a penalty in normal time and munich equalized with the last kick of the game.

The only negative points are that while the cpu is more varied the sliders favor the player to cross it a lot and score that way. But defender has been a little easier as the cpu sometimes has a bad touch.

Like most, I think line settings are the heart of sliders in this game. I've actually been experimenting with some rather alternative line settings.

I put all the sliders back to default, started playing in CM, and started adjusting from there. My philosophy on line settings is that default FIFA is way too damn open. There is so much room for players to run through, that to me, it doesn't truly reflect the game we see in real life.

So, to me, that means we need to bring players in from left and right, and bring them all the lines together. My line settings are currently:

                  Height: 78
                  Length: 11
                  Width: 15

Seems a bit crazy, right? I think it's working so far. Less space between the players is how I think we should see things. Or, at least how I like to see it. The only issue with that so far is that when you have that low length, the AI drops back far on defense, most of the time letting you have the ball at midfield if you want to. But, as of now, that's better to me than being able to sprint through their midfield and just take on their back four, which is standard FIFA operating procedure.

A question about your defending. Do you use contain? What about teammate contain?

Thanks for this tip. Playing with the OP settings and some slight tweaks and loving it but I feel I am scoring too many goals (since I'm leading the BPL with QPR haha) and I'm really not great at finishing. With the length at 54 I can pretty much get to the back four and they will be pretty high up unless the CPU is playing very defensively. I will start to lower line length and see if it backs the CPU up. I LOVE the actually play of the midfield and the battles and everything. Very challenging, I just need less chances against their back 4 that I didn't truly truly earn. I also am getting some nasty counter attack goals from clearout crosses because of how far up they are. Which is part tactics part sliders I guess. I'll see.

                      Edit
But then I watch Matt's video and it just explained that lol. Great video Matt. I'll take what I got. Counter attacks shouldnt be any easier.

Oh man I hope you saw the game against Arsenal. The early go ahead goal, giving two back to go down, then an own goal to go down 3-1 but then 2 goals to come back and get a point of out of it!

MOST of my defending is just me on the left stick trying be as disciplined as I can in front of the ball carrier. I use LT to jockey and as you can see RT to speed up the jockey which sends me pass the dribbler plenty of times. I actually started to use contain a bit and noticed it worked once I changed the settings back and my defenders were doing their job much better. I never used contain before because it just kind of let the CPU do whatever they want since my defenders were useless. Since the sliders have balanced the game I an trust my other defenders to defend runners and play contain.

My issue on defense is I try to stick TOO tight and end out of the play if I dont get the ball. My good stretches were when I showed patience. Once I got down a goal or started pressing for whatever reason I lost my patience on defense. I put my lowly rated defenders in bad positions and it was a recipe for a lot of easy goals with me sprinting into my own players haha.

I DO use teammate contain but VERY sparingly. You want to use it as a like a tackle command for the CPU. It's risky because you don't know exactly who will do the contain. You have to learn based on your formation and team tactics how your players handoff their marking. You want to use contain when the player who will contain doesn't have anyone he should be marking or he should be marking the man with the ball.

For example, if I control the defender in front of the dribbler and the closest player is behind the dribbler with no one to cover ill contain and he will come press the dribbler from behind and force a decision if I don't want to do that from the front.

Or I use a defender who's deeper and off the ball and defend the runners while using contain to get who's ever on the dribbler to play tighter or use it as a tackle command like i said earlier.

It all depends on where the ball is on the pitch and who i'm controlling. The most important thing is controlling the right player and knowing THAT players assignment so if you choose to break it you know where the hole will open up. Thankfully I'm pretty good at making up for my mistakes by seeing the open lane coming and getting back just in time. Of course it's a live on the edge style of playing. If I was just more patient I'd be a lot better off but then I give the CPU chances to shine with moments of quality.

To me it feels as realistic as it can get. All the tweaks are based on personal play styles IMO.

                        EDIT:

                        Shot Speed: 45/45
                        Pass Speed: 46/46
                        Injury Frequency: 63/63
                        Injury Severity: 30/30
                        Goalkeeper Ability: 65/65
                        Marking: 48/49
                        Run Frequency: 0/0
                        Line Height: 65/65
                        Line Length: 54/54
                        Line Width: 49/49
                        Fullback Positioning: 50/50

                        Power Bar: 50
                        First Touch: 65/65

Here's what I was playing on. All tweaks as suggested by Matt since I'm way too new to the sport to pretend I understand it enough to tweak sliders. I made some PERSONAL PLAY STYLE tweaks by upping acceleration for the CPU on point to even the playing field a bit for me. I've gotten reliant on cutting and outrunning the CPU, since the AI can't be reprogrammed and going legendary makes CPU super OP I do this slight change. I get a lot more physical runs because I can't just pull away from the CPU WITH the ball.

I like marking at 48 for my play style. Tactical defending where I like to switch, switch, switch, and make plays myself. The CPU won't over commit to the ball but they mark off the ball very well so I can read the attack as I switch. I have begun to be able to know if I move player A, player B will rotate to his man so player C will move here and that means CPU will either have to go here or here. And if I can guess right I get the ball back.

The rest I don't really understand haha besides the obvious. I don't see anything that NEEDs changing. I am having hard fought games with a roster with only TWO players over 80 in the BPL. So I'll take that. I feel like its a fair challenge and I can win every game but id have to play mistake free to do it. Obviously we are human so thats not possible. The CPU plays human so it works both ways.

We'll see how my goal scoring goes now that I've settled in. I'm leading the BPL but I haven't scored more than 4 goals in one game but I rarely rarely get shut out. If I want to make it harder to score I'll just go manual passing and that'll open up a whole new difficulty level in its own sense. On manual the hard passes in traffic are easier since I can aim for space not a player but the basic passes end up miserable since I'm so use to passing without thought and TRULY aiming.

Here's what I've been messing around with this afternoon. Won't be able to play more today, so I figured I'd throw them out there. Kind of a combination the community set and Placebo's.

                          Sprint Speed: 49/44

I saw part of the Arsenal match, but not all.

That was some impressive defending if it was mostly left stick stuff! I think Tottenham got 1 shot in the first half.

I noticed that you change the defender much less often than I do. I always try to control the player that is closing down the attacker, while you seem to mostly control the player who will eventually steal the ball. I also jockey a lot, but I don't really jockey and run; will have to try that.

It did look like you conceded at least one goal after using teammate contain: your defenders tried to press the attacker, but left some open space in the box.

                            But I repeat: impressive!

                              Krebstar's thoughts on Matt10's FIFA 15 Sliders (version 7):
Matt, really enjoying this. I'm messing around with Line Width at 20 right now, and it's producing some great things. Maybe it's too compressed, but it definitely creates what you see in real games, which is a more clogged center, and more space on the wings.

This pleases me, as something I did last year to help improve my team's defense was have a very low width set in my custom tactics. I think the tighter width will help keep attackers from darting right through openings.

you see the main issue with teammate contain. You leave open space if the wrong guy comes running up, wish there was a tiny hint visual hint to tell you who would be the guy but it's trial and error for now.

But thanks! Playing the guy with the ball is okay but I don't have the patience for it. I always try to make the tackle too soon and screw things up. I will play the dribble just to slow him down and force him to make a decision with the ball. Once he stops going forward the time it takes him to turn and pass/dribble is when I have to switch players and cut off the option. The interceptions are VERY rewarding this way but it's tough.

To me it's a video game and I like having to control a lot. It isnt a soccer simulation that we can just watch the AI play out. We all know video game AI isnt that good.
