Offline Franchise

Quick question, in off line franchise mode, everytime I complete a game I click the option to exit the game and go back to the franchise home screen. Now instead of going to the franchise home screen it goes to the home screen thus not saving the game I just completed. Is there a fix for this or is an a glitch. Just started to occur this weekend. Thanks.

Had the same problem. I found the issue happened when instead of completely closing down Madden on the main xbox screen I would just leave it open and running in background if you will so upon restart it was still loaded. Try closing down madden completely each time you turn off the system and then restart madden each time you boot up. I think that's the key. Hope this makes sense and helps!

Interesting so basically close out of Madden completely and should be good. Thanks man. This was a near game killer for me. Since doing this have you had any issues?

This happened to me 2 months ago so I went away from Madden. Just started a new franchise tonight and played the most epic game and of course it takes me back to the main menu for the entire game and not the franchise menu. This is killing me. What do you mean close out of madden completely? I have xbox one so does that mean I should have my Xbox on energy saving mode so madden has to fully start up every time? Someone please help.

Are you able to connect online? I would always recommend playing an online CFM even if solo. That way you have access to any tuning updates and can access your league online. It also sims and advances much quicker. I know that doesn't help your current situation but for future CFMs and other who may be wondering I think online is always the best option if possible.

So I had it working because when the game starts up it will say "signing in to ea servers". You then hit "cancel" so that you're not signed in to the servers. This worked for 5 games but now I have the problem again.

Online isn't an option for me. I have to control 32 teams.

To close out of the game completly, go to the xbox one home screen, hightlight the madden game in the main window, hit the menu key on the controller. This will bring up a window that has exit game as a choice.
I have not had the problem you are speaking of, but I always do this when I am done playing. To me, it always seems like a good idea to shutdown all programs before closing out the system (I'm an old microsoft user, habits die hard)
