The shot timing just doesnt feel right. You have to release insanely early to make a shot. It feels awkward especially off the dribble where you usually expect to hold longer since the animation plays out longer. NBA players do have quick triggers but we still are playing a video game here. There should a little longer delay to account for players setting their feet and rising up to their apex.Comment

Yesterday I finally got live 15! Man I was excited to try it out. I played the tutorial and than the Finals Preview. Both played good and promising.
Than I played the Warriors Blazers Matchup...and what the hell happened? Crazy Animations, Run and Gun Herky Jerky Style of Play. I have to admit that I'm very disappointed about it. The animations in the post are crazy and look so akward. Kaman and Aldridge nailed every shot in the post. I tried every defensive adjustment. And than Lillard went wild and hit everything from downtown!
So disappointed...I was looking forward to this game for months...
It has so much potential...graphics are crazy! Arenas and sounds the best ever...but animation and gameplay ist still on a pretty low level. I hope that it was just a live season thing and I will try out other matchups...but the initial impression is bad...Comment

This is my biggest issue with the game, so far. When I get a "great timing", its an accident. I'm just guessing, because nothing happens visually, that indicates when I should release the button. Unless this is patched, I may as well, turn the "skill" part of the equation off.Comment

I don't really understand this.
There are dozens of players on the currently outdated rosters whose synergy is updating.....such as Nash and Randle. Neither are even playing.
Yet there they are on the rosters with updated data.Comment

CPU Tony Parker on Superstar settings.
Wasn't seeing this from any player since launch.

Surely it can't be tha hard to get an up to date roster out as well.Comment

Ive been playing with different teams now, after spoiling myself with the Spurs. I wanted to see if I could just score and break folks down with anyone. It was harder than what I was expecting, thankfully.
I still haven't figured out the difference between the right trigger size up moves, and holding the RS leaving the LS neutral. It kind of confuses me actually
Did they take the spin-gather modifier out of the game? I have yet to be able to do it. Hop-Step, Step Back, Drop Step, Euro Step is all good.Comment

In one of the loading screens in the demo I remember it showing the spin gather - rotate the RS as you would do a spin move then press Triangle/Y.Comment

Yeah things that should be done ASAP.
1. Update Roster
2. Fix Rewind Games
3. Stabilize LUT
4. Make interior D better
5. Manual bounce or lob passes
6. Tweak 3 pointer shot variance, it either swishes or hits the rim and misses. There should be more make and miss possibilities, hits the rim hits the backboard and then falls in, hits one side of the rim then the other and pops out, hits the back of the rim and deflects into the basket, etc.
7. CPU reach in fouls
8. The D on both ends needs to be more active in pushing rebounds out/away from the basket. Increase more tipped rebounds.
9. Open the window for shot then change to pass decisions
10. More post moves
11. Larger defenders need to have more dominance over penetrating smaller players
12. CPU needs to run more plays from their playbook
13. Shot timing increased slightly, it's too quick nowresident curmudgeonComment
