The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.

Really wished you could contest jumpers without being called for some bogus fouls
yes!!! Playing defense is tough enough with contextual jumping not happening enough, no real use of height and weight comparison during collisions, cpu auto animation paths taking them to the front of the rim, etc.
Now these ticky tack fouls have appeared. And they are also being called very late in the shot clock. I put the cpu on the line a lot with less than :02 on the shot clock.
I replay the foul and there isnt much in it.
I have been watching nba games more and more and the simple truth is half court isnt really defended, the edges arent really defended, the top of the key isn't, the lane really isn't. But boy oh boy do they all put a little more effort into defending the rim IRL.
In Live 75% of the cpu attack on me is layups, put backs, animation path slashes to the rim all right up next to the rim.
I put in hibbert, aldridge and duncan last night and the cpu didnt care. They just kept coming to the rim for gimmes.
If they tuned interior defense it might just make the cpu use some signature back dribbles and steb backs in the lane to get off shots and more penetration and dishing and the game would look a lot more realistic.

The fouls will also occur sometimes from the auto contest animation itself...that's how I got my 6th foul on Ty Lawson yesterday. I went to the replay and there was literally no contact...

EDIT: Wrong thread but whatever lol
Love the pictures, but somehow the overall look doesn't look as good as... you know...n I got a steal and bought this game digitally for $30 on ebay. So it's more fun to me and I prefer it. I just hope they patch the graphics, maybe it's the lighting but something still makes it look a bit off. Close ups are great though

Ok so wait...
Holding up on R stick will raise your arms to contest, but you won't jump. So if they jump you just accept what happens. Ok. I will try this.
But...
How about in the lane? Now this has me thinking in order to body up an attacker and deny the lane to the front of the rim, I need to R stick shuffle instead of L stick move...maybe, just maybe, the lane contact animations are dependent on the R stick and not the L stick? Off to test this.

Man can it be possible to make the game harder with TOMBA settings, like damn I don't know why but in the 4th quarter the CPU is so easy you can steal like no tmrw. I might just turn on reach in fouls. I also play with Ratings + Skill for shooting.

I don't know why you'd turn off reach in fouls. I have them near max. Those who mention steal in bring too easy aren't playing with the reach slider maxed on superstar. I'd you keep reaching, you'll be in foul trouble in no time.

Ive settled on usering just one player and using coach settings for everything else. No more bailing out my foul prone teammates. Played vs Dirk and he gave me a workin' and the CPU beat me by 3. No late 4th qtr brain cramps for them. That was good to see

I'm talking about Reach in Foul on/off, not the slider. I do have the slider on max (100). I'm not sure why in TOMBA's settings he said to turn it off.
Straight outta his settings page:
"RULES
Remove THESE Fouls.
Five Seconds,Eight-Seconds and Reach-In."
EDIT: Played a game with the reach in on. Was down 15 managed to come back magically in the 4th quarter and win. Celtics court is on point. they got the colour of the court and Brooklyns on point.

Same here, I remember not even putting 5 hours into 'the other game' last year. But this year, I can't get enough of Live 15. I just started my Rising Star last night after wrenching myself away from Ultimate Team, and I'm torn as to what to play at this point. Haven't even touched Dynasty yet but I'm looking forward to it. Been having GREAT games as of late, and actually feeling that if I lose, it's because of poor choices, not because I'm getting cheated out of it.
I'm not going to lie, I was frustrated when I first started playing, but with the updates (and Tomba's fantastic settings), I just can't stop playing it. Now of course I want them to fix the Halftime show and it would be nice to see them put a ton of new jerseys into the next major update. But the amount of improvement from day one to now has been nothing short of astounding.
