You're right though, this wouldn't fly in real life, no way. I would like to see them scrap the whole "got next" thing, have you and your team mates (or just yourself) in a practice arena or an outdoor court each player with a ball just messing around practicing shots and use that as a lobby. Select what you want to play (2v2, 3v3, 5v5, rec center) and the servers just find a game and drops you into it. Winner stays on.

No standing around waiting for games to end, no walking around the park looking for open spaces.

The Park is a cool concept it's just executed terribly.

Also, they should add a one on one.

...Another thing you could do if you went with my system is have two playlists, one for solo players and one for squads. You could also have a ranked system, so you have;

Solo Playlists;

Bronze; 2v2, 3v3, 5v5
Silver; 2v2, 3v3, 5v5
Gold; 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 5v5

Squad Playlists;

Bronze; 2v2, 3v3, 5v5
Silver; 2v2, 3v3, 5v5
Gold; 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 5v5

That way squads only play other squads, randoms don't get matched up against well organised squads and you only play people of a similar level, so people that don't play it as much or buy VC can take their 70 overall guy onto the park and play against similar talent instead of going up against 99 overalls etc. (hence the bronze, silver, gold).

They could also do some seriously crazy ****. Like add in custom playlists where you don't earn VC that are just for fun with people on your friends list, like a game where 3 pointers aren't allowed, where you have to pass X amount of times before you can take a shot etc etc

I don't know, just spit balling here...
Best idea I've read for the Park. I really like it. Nothing more frustrating than waiting several minutes for a game and then a squad comes up.
