    Game to game variance.

I've been playing a lot of My Career but now i started playing MyGM and I am not seeing much game to game variance.

What I mean is, even on back to backs it's not uncommon for my team to score 100+ points.

I have never, even with *excellent* defense been able to hold the cpu to under 80-90 points consistently. (ever, actually)

I'm not sure if it's tempo or pace of game thats causing this lack of disparity in scoring, and it's not ruining the game for me necessarily, BUT I would like to know if there are other OS'ers who are experiencing this lack of variance?

This isn't a complaint thread, I feel the game is great, but I did want to DISCUSS this potential issue.

Well, regardless of the tempo since CPU don't really use much of the shot clock. All they do is drive, stop at the free throw area and fades away and boom 2 points and they don't miss even with Close Shot at 30. I rarely see scoring drought in game, I mean I see at least 2-3 minutes scoring drought but it's more me than CPU which sucks at times especially holding the lead.

What difficulty are you guys playing on ? The CPU could be more aggressive with 3 point shots Sliders might help though

Yeah every game feels almost the same. Cpu runs the shot clock down to atleast 5secs majority of the time.

Then again i only play .500 and over teams. Ive held a few teams under 80 but it was pure luck on superstar. Cpu has no chance on allstar no matter the rating bump i give them.

Not a complaint because i do like the game. Fixing most of the cpu issues(midrange/putbacks) would result in cpu getting blown out every game. Cpu just cant keep up without the bs and thats the biggest issue.

I think I may, and then adjust sliders for fatigue.

I didnt have this issue with the game last year though. Kinda makes me sad as I don't really like messing with sliders because it turns into a never ending tinker.

Is that 12 min quarters then on superstar/sim?

Yeah just finished a amazing game with Memphis vs Suns(cpu). Dragic went 6/10 from 3. Playing with sliders trying to get 3pt attempts and fouls up. Worked out pretty well as they shot almost 20 fts in 12 minute quarters.

I think I will be happy once the cpu shoots a little earlier in the shot clock. My (no)variance comes from how they get there points. To many 3 cross, 2 zig/zag, 1 shoot.

Both teams only shot 42/43 percent which is amazing.

12 min quarters/Superstar/Sim no slider adjustments

I don't know if it's the quarter length or pure placebo effect but it seems like the game plays so much better in MyLeague as far as Superstar goes....

I think it has a lot to do with play style tbh

The put backs and 3PA are definitely an issue that the patch hopefully addresses...

One issue m I don't have that It seems like a lot of others are having is FTAs, I feel like there are too many some times...I jump too much according to my brother, lol. I draw a fair amount myself too...

Just tore up the Hornets. They are my nemesis of 2k15. Normally get blown out or comes down to the last few minutes.

Bogut was Player of Game. Dude was killing Big Al

Ive always been a horrible Steph Curry/Klay Thompson user. Cannot tell you why. More consistent with bad shooters.

This is good stuff guys, thanks.

I think i will try to move to Superstar sim, It;s just i find it incredibly hard to shoot sometimes on that difficulty level.
