I know everybody is really excited to get their CMs started but remember.....

HaHa that's awesome, I hate those sites, why someone playing a career mode would want to use a SOFIFA like site is beyond me. Are they that desperate to be called a winner? LOL.

I understand only a thing.If i was a british i would love Fifa 14 and play however it is.cos there are more than 20 licensed fields and great faces etc.great graphics as well.on the other hand there are robotic player movements,'perfect' goalkeepers,same goals and a crazy cpu rival who doesnt actually know what he is doing.whatever u do,he never wanna giv the ball,if u get the ball,he doesnt let u play,when he has the ball,u really get bored and crazy to watch his stupid actions etc.EA is a really good illiusionist.Good menu caracters combining with cool music .all players names are real as in their languages.But they do not trust themselves that they created something named 'slider' which we argue and even if we edit,we are and not gonna be happy.You know why?because we love football and we wanna enjoy it.Think about fifa with same menu,conditions with pes.no licenses,simple menu,not match stadiums.only about gameplay.who plays that game?i do not think that many people can do.actually at the begining of the game season,i downloaded fifa demo,never thought to do it with pes but just got curious.and downloaded pes too.i didnt like when i played first.then i checked forums and saw that its point is better than fifa.shocked and read details.then i played again and see that its really a football simulator.if u do not understand me and if it is just a simple game for u .just think about why people still play pes 6 ?maybe cos of ignite or graphics?this is my opinion,just wanted to share with u.

I know what you mean, but I'm usually just too weak. Might not do it this year though (if I get the game), to see if I get the full experience.

No SOFIFA for me! I edited the db and disabled the attribute hiding so I can see everything.

Hey guys some quick advice. I played man city in a preseason on my CM with Bayern with the sliders on world class and beat them 3-0 but then i played the same match on legendary and lost 3-1. Legendary did not count their foul on me in the box and seemed to use some AI scripting. But i don't want the game to be too easy. Should i go with my career on legendary anyways or stick to world class and hope it becomes a challenge with different teams?

Mate, you can't say on one hand you don't want the game to be too easy then choose to use maybe the best club in Europe(Bayern Munich). You want it tough?play on World Class with SC Paderborn, Burnley, Cordoba, or Parma. I promise it will not be easy lol.

I have found the Global Transfer Network highly useful this year, and adds to realism among other things.

Therefore, I use SOFIFA but not to scour OVR/POT ratings, but because it contains super useful data sets that have nothing to do with OVR/POT.

How is that the same? I can't see POT only OVR and their attributes, you know, the way the game used to be. I wouldn't have to wait 20 days in-game to find out that 5 of the strikers I've been scouting aren't what I'm looking for.

The first games of the season are always easier. Play man city on world class in the champions cup, I bet it will feel like legendary but without the cpu playing like gods

For '14 I changed it to Legacy after trying Tactical for one game. This year I forgot to switch it when I was playing on XB1 and got used to it. When I switched to PC I remembered to switch it to Legacy and immediately thought, "What the eff is this?" lol.

Yeah, the sliders work equally well with both styles of defending. I've been using tactical defending since it was introduced in FIFA 12(I think) and haven't looked back. As with most things, it just comes down to preference.

Well I found the latest set a little easy. Only played two games, but won 3-0 and 2-0.

I think playing for so long with FT control at 85 and CPU marking at 75, with the looser marking and better FT control, the game just came too easy.

the worst part was I felt in control both games, I was 3-0 up in less than 30 minutes in the 1st half of the first game, and then just poked it around the park for the rest of the game. The cpu ended up having 2 players sent off, a straight red and two yellows to another ... that's another understated part of fifa, you can physically see the CPU get frustrated and take frustration fouls when you're dominating the game.


I'm gonna head back to the sets from about 5 or 6 days ago and run with them. personally, I preferred them on WC rather then getting the current set and moving up to legendary.
