This game looked like a sure pats win after they shut our first drive down and marched right down the field, but Brady was too far ahead of Brandon LaFell on 3rd and goal from the three and that forced a field goal.

Fueled by two runs of 28 and 23 yards by Knowshon Moreno, the Dolphins found their groove on the ground and began gashing a New England team without Dont'a Hightower, Darelle Revis, or Chandler Jones. Moreno finished with 128 rusing yards and a 2 TD's, and Tannehill and Miller combined for an extra 87 and a touchdown (By Tannehill) as the Dolphins used an interception by Jelani Jenkins inside the two minute warning to gain the lead on a Moreno rush with 12 seconds to go before half and never looked back. The game was sealed on a pick by Reshad Jones, as Brady threw two picks but for over 300 yards.

The Dolphins were very conservative on the day, pouding the ball on the ground and taking the short passes over the middle of the field all day, one which Mike Wallace broke for 49 yards after breaking four tackles.

Overall it was a dominant day for the Dolphins, but head coach Joe Philbin said after the game that he expects Tannehill to rely on his arm more than his legs, and also said while he was impressed with Moreno, the Dophins can't rely on him forever. Defensively, Philbin seemed very pleased with the effort, but did express his concern over the fact that the Fins had only one sack on the day.
