Re: TEC Fictional Draft Class for Trifecta 2k15 Roster

            Name: Isaiah Rogers
            Position: SF/SG
            Height and Weight: 6’7 221
            School: Maryland
Year you will be coming out (Freshman, Sophomore, etc): Senior
Strengths: on-ball defense, rebounding, shot blocking, steals, free throws, length, high motor
Weaknesses: 3pt shooting, mid-range shooting, ball handling, offensive consistency, strength, post defense, can get into foul trouble
After 4 years at Maryland, Isaiah is probably one of the most NBA ready prospects in this year’s draft. His offensive skill-set leaves something to be desired but that isn't what has scouts intrigued. The two-time ACC Defensive player of the year has drawn comparisons to Tony Allen, silencing prolific scorers throughout his college career. While he doesn't have the highest ceiling, the swingman can immediately be inserted into the rotation or even the starting lineup in a pinch. Not a superstar by any stretch of the imagination but a defensive stopper capable of limiting the other team’s best player.

Re: TEC Fictional Draft Class for Trifecta 2k15 Roster

                Name: Victor "Vic" Buchanon
                Position(s): SF/PF
                Height: 6'7"
                Weight: 234lbs
                College: California Golden Bears
                Declared after: Sophomore season

Strengths: Quickness, Strength, Mid/Short range shots, Penetrating off the dribble, Face-up game, (Power)Post-up game, Athletic.

Weaknesses: Long ball, Rebounding, Low-post defense, Fundamentals, Steals/Shot Blocking.

Vic is not the typical "Stretch Four/Cornerman". He is quick enough to come off the dribble and powerful enough to back you down. He typically sets up with the pump fake to come off the dribble and always wants to make the highlight play even if its not there.

As for the post game, its pure power. The lack of fundamentals and finesse in his post game, along with his height, really hurts his development into becoming a truly successful PF. His miscues in rebounding and general low post work on the defensive end of the floor is also concerning. But wow, he sure does have power and strength to bang inside.

With coaching and hard work, Victor can be a rare breed that has the quickness to successfully contribute as a SF, but with the power and strength to still hold his own if needed down low. Immaturity and always wanting that Sportscenter top 10 play may get him into trouble.

                Ceiling: Kevin Garnett
                Ideal: Rudy Gay
                Floor: Derrick Williams

                  Year Coming Out: Freshman

Strengths: ball handling, 3-point shooting, athleticism, long arms, potential to be great defender, work ethic

I try to get a Good mixture of Talent at the Top of the Draft. I dont want all Guards being 3pt artists or all Bigmen Low Post Beasts. I have watched basketball for around 30 years, so I try take aspects of players I have watched over the years and mix and match skillsets.

TEC Fictional Draft Class for Trifecta 2k15 Roster

                              Name: Chris Johnson II

                              Height: 6’ 7”

                              Weight: 225 lbs

                              Position: SG/SF

                              Year: Fifth Year Senior

                              School: Florida

Strengths: Mid-Range, Inside Shooter, Ball handling, passing

Weakness: Strength, 3 Point, Low Post, Injury, Defense

                              Story line:

Chris Johnson is can come off the bench and give you points. Can be a great Sixth man possibly and starter for a small NBA team. Chris has a 39 in vertical. His wingspan is 72 inches. If draft by the right team and system Chris could turn out to be a sleeper. His fundamentals are middle of the road. It is surprising that he was a fifth year senior, because he was highly sought after by top schools. The schools were Kansas, N.C., Duke, Kentucky. He ultimately stayed home and went to his families alma mater. He was red shirted his freshman year due to his lacking in school. The start of his second year in the program Chris finally got on track. He ended the season with an average of 25 ppg. 5 rbg, 2 assists per game. In the summer before his third year he broke his leg in a summer league game. He sat his whole third year. In his fourth year he came off the bench for the Gators and was a great sixth man. He ended the season with 16.8 ppg. and 3 rebounds with .5 in blocks. His fifth year was his best season in his career he ended up averaging a double double. 20 ppgs. and 10 assists. His potential is grade is a B+. A great fit for him is to be on a championship contending team were he doesn't have to be a leader or have lot of minutes expected at of him. His three point average was 46% his free throws average was 89% his average for the field was 77%
