Online Is At a all time Low (Pictures)

This is by far the worst online experience ever... I've had better online games on NBA2K9 on the PS2. Don't take my word for it just look at these stats from a game I played on HOF SIM. This game is a joke, I was the Knicks and played smart the entire game shooting over 70% while my opponent had no basketball IQ and managed to win. Well looks like noobs own 2K this Year GG.

Off Rebounds killed you. But you shot over 70% and he shot 39%

Hmmm, all those threes and all those offensive rebounds makes me wonder...

Were you playing zone all game? Zone is horrible rebounding and gives open threes.

Well I was playing a 2-3 Zone at first but I constantly used different defense.

Basically without watching the game, my feeling is that the threes he chucked he was open on those but missed most of those. Since he was open when he took the shot, it's more likely he got the offensive rebound and kicked it out for another three and hit most of those.

The fact that you hit 75 percent says he played no defense and he might have caught you in the wrong defense because he was open alot.

In any case, my recommendation is always to first look at what you can do. The first thing I suggest is to slow the game down. You basically played his game and he won imo.

I'll try to slow my game down, it's just crazy how easy threes are this year. Open or not everyone can't be Steph Curry.

too many missed open shots. i like the older system when u could miss perfect releases but it was easier. u could at least make open shots more consistent.

Yup. Online encourages people to jack up Threes. He shot wayyyyy more threes than you but you guys shot basiclaly the same amount of free throws. That's outrageous. HE also only scored 28 points in the paint, unless your shooting lights out from three you will lose every game with that little of paint points. 2k should be aware of this. This happens to me online as well and people tell me it's the offensive rebounds that kills me. But if you shoot well then you don't need an offensive rebound. Sometimes it's as if when the opponent misses a three, the ball semi floats to them.to give them another chance. I suggest you just play off ball defense while telling your team to limit perimiter and if you see they are about to pull up you quickly change to that person and put a hand in the opponents face.
