for somebody who hasnt played a wwf game since gamecube?..i use to love wwe games back in the day when i was a kid and im debating on buying this game..but ive seen bad reveiws

Watch gameplay on Twitch . That's the best way to decide. Word of mouth will do you np justice because everyone is going to tell you what they like, which might not be what you like. Also try Gamefly.

To be honest NO.
If you have PS3 or 360 get 2k14 and save some money.
If you have PS4 or XB1, it's the only game in town. The graphics and gameplay are nice but you'll end up spending nearly $100 for DLC to have a complete roster and any replay value.

Only it your a wrestling fan that loves booking and playing out rivalries. Once you play 2k showcase and my career the game can wear out its welcome. Universe Mode keeps the game fresh for me year round until next year's release. I love fantasy booking my federation.

No. The lack of online lobbies just completely killed this game. This needs to be patched ASAP because getting online in this game is the worst I have ever seen.

What about the Season Pass? How long are the Showcase's each? Is it worth the new material for a guy that isn't/wasn't big fans of Christian, Mark Henry, and Warrior?

Even with the things taken out and not there it's been well worth it for me. I personally believe that you get a lot for your money...hell my brother has played it a lot when ever he's had a break from work, army and whatever and we've had a ball talking junk and playing. He's not a big gamer like I am.

I look at it for what it has other than what it doesn't...now I am irritated that the My Logo's isn't working for me anymore and I can't seem to get help from 2K right now, can't post on their boards cause I never get confirmation email, haven't heard back from support about the problem but I'll give it a go again next week with support since it was the holidays.

Definitely. The DLC will be great too. Universe mode is much better this year so if you like booking matches you will really enjoy it.

I am trying the single player and I have not gotten into the meat of it yet but for me everything falls on the online aspect of the game as that is where I spend 99% of my time with my systems. I will let the other guys talk about the SP as I have not done enough of that to review but MP is so broken. A few things I do not like that they took away was the lobbies (can't do that in this day in age) and the entrances for your player. I use to like in the past looking at everyone entrances with their CAW and they completely took that out. For me it was not worth $60 or even the $50 I paid for it at launch. If they fix these 2 things, especially the lobby system I think it will be ok but for me right now I would catch it on sale.

This game is worth $60 if you're getting the complete edition. All DLC and game for $60. If not, no, don't go near it. Unless you got a Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal, I wouldn't waste my money. It's lack of features are absurd. Gameplay took a step in the right direction, but what we loss was too big for the little step taken in gameplay.

does this have the old school wrestlers like stone cold,the rock, dx, etc or is that part of the dlc?....i dont know who half these new wrestlers are so if i do get it i will be using the old school wrestlers

I might be wrong but 2k13 might be more up your alley.

You replay all the great moments from the Attitude era (DX, McMahon/Austin, Rock, etc.)

Actually, I'm thinking of getting it. I missed it but loved playing through the scenarios of 2k14 (more of a beginning to current day of the WWF/WWE)

I hope, hope, hope that they do a WWE/WCW/ECW type theme next year.
