Have u tried changing WRs to Agressive in ball in the air attributes ... over 90% of the WRs are on balanced .... just a thought

I think that is only a DB trait. I don't think it has any impact on WR's. Worth a look though

Good point charter .... maybe make WRs trait aggressive for ball in air and bring down DBs from aggresive or balanced to conservative ... ive seen most DBs will be either aggresive or balanced ....

The only problem with editing traits is once rookies come into your CFM the gameplay gets broken again. Unless EA lets us edit rosters within CFM which hasn't happened yet and isn't likely to happen trait editing isn't a long term solution.

WR's have no trait for how they go after the ball....LB's, S's and CB's have the "play ball in air" trait....I think it is connected also with the interception slider..

I was playing in Practice mode, Vikings (me) vs Packers...I threw a pass to a WR, I forget which one on a 4 vertical play and LB AJ Hawk, conservative play on ball in air, actually cut in front of the WR and picked off the ball....This is All-Madden settings with everything on default except:

interceptions: 53
Pass Block: 6
Run Block: 6
Tackle: 43

for both HUM/CPU......I believe that maybe Pass Block effects QB to WR passing ability; thus the higher your pass block the better the passing game in general in completing certain passes, such as tightly covered passes.

Ya good point traits and attributes will become useless after 5 years or so ..... So ive been avoiding and avoiding downloading this latest patch do most of u guys feel its a good idea 2 download it or should I jus keep avoiding it .... love 2 hear what u guys think .... ive seen its helped with sack assault but Human running game is 2 easy and WRs have no fight for the ball .... is that it ?? ?? { ©¿© } <=] ~~~~:

I got tired of seeing the disinterested attitude of the WRs too. If you want the WRs to fight for the ball check out Whosnext's Pro mode sliders, the animations shine on Pro mode. I have been playing them with some minor personal edits and have seen some spectacular catches including 2 Hail Marys, 1 at the end of a game and one at the end of the half in another game.

Just started a new franchise. First game against the Rams as the Vikings I won 21-20. I had 4 sacks and the Rams had 2. I threw 1 int and the Rams threw 2, one was returned for a TD. I gave up 259 yards and I had 256 yards. Post patch this game has a ton of variety and is really an improvement.

Running game is much much better! This patch made it challenging again.
Also on fade routes WRs are more aggressive. Never seen it before the patch actually.
Animations seem really beautiful and feel organic now. Overall the game plays better. IDK why people are complaining.

What sliders are you using? After the patch, my running game can't be stopped. I can rip up and down the field. The CPU just can't get off of blocks.

Most people are complaining b/c the HUM running game is simply too easy now and there appears to be no fix.

The running game is just so frustrating; either too easy or too hard..Or inside runs plays are over powered, while outside runs are nonexistent, or outside run plays are overpowered and inside runs are stuffed.
