Re: What school to add after UAB is done
App State and Georgia Southern went FBS this year IRL and are not in NCAA 14. Both are in the Sun Belt, and Georgia Southern actually won the conference in their first year.Comment

Re: What school to add after UAB is done
Georgia Southern, Appalachian State, and Charlotte have all moved up to FBS since NCAA 14 came out. Of the three Georgia Southern is definitely the best team, as the previous poster said, they won the Sunbelt this year.Comment

I can't tell if the OP's dynasty is already underway, but in case it is, you can't add a teambuilder team to a dynasty that's already started.Favorite Teams:
College #1: Michigan Wolverines
College #2: Michigan State Spartans (my alma mater)
College #3: North Carolina Tar Heels
NHL: Detroit Redwings

UNC-Charlotte since they're taking UAB's spot next season anyway (though they won't be bowl-eligible until 2016).Comment

Re: What school to add after UAB is done
Errr... Charlotte already joined CUSA ,so either Georgia Southern or Georgia State will be one CUSA will take look at. IMO, CUSA probably will take Georgia State because Georgia Southern probably will want Appalachian State to be part of package to join.
On the other hand, they might want to take look at South Alabama or Arkansas State instead of Georgia schools because they need one more team for West division that's why they might pass on Georgia schools. North Texas, Louisiana Tech and Southern Mississippi probably favor Arkansas State because of natural rivalry.Comment

Re: What school to add after UAB is done
Was just about to post about this. Charlotte is the answer since they are infact joining next year. The question now is how to add them? My answer would be that roster makers create a teambuilder team for Charlotte using the same methodology that they'll use to update next years rosters for 2014 and upload it for download. Then we can download that team in addition to the new roster set and replace UAB with them in Conference USA.
The only concerns are 1. I never use teambuilder, so can we even create a realistic looking Charlotte logo and jersey? 2. What the hell will we do if EA decides to end online support for the title?Comment

Re: What school to add after UAB is done
I was thinking about this as well, but for folks who wanted to get the 4 team playoff in (because you can't simply replace UAB with a teambuilder squad and still have the editor work.)
I too believe that the roster set for next year could have this option for UAB:
1.) We create a Charlotte team in place of UAB, but we leave the UAB logos and school info. The user would just have to pretend it's Charlotte.
And for the above poster, in teambuilder, yes you can create a realistic logo, jersey, stadium and roster.Check out We have a football team too..Guru's UConn Huskies in Dynasty HQ!

Re: What school to add after UAB is done
I haven't tried this, but I'd guess that you could use the editor to change UAB into Charlotte if you wanted.
There's settings for Team Name, mascot name, and nickname. You could change their stadium, but only to 1 that's already in the game. You could also change their end zone, but again only to something already in the game.
I'd imagine that changing their name would mean that Charlotte would show up when looking at standings, stats, etc. If you never played them you probably wouldn't even notice that it's not Charlotte except they'd still have the UAB log when looking at players and stuff.
This is of course assuming that editing those things I mentioned works like we'd expect it to. I know I've tried to add pride stickers to teams and haven't been able to get it to work, so who knows?Attached FilesFavorite Teams:

Re: What school to add after UAB is done
Just to insert an ironic side note here…
I created my first Teambuilder (Pensacola Tigers) for '13 and the team I dropped was UAB.
Hope that doesn't mean ULM, ULL, Rice, and a few others are in danger, with my most recent Teambuilder switch-outs.Comment

I made these changes to "Team Name" "Team Long Name" "Team Mascot Name" and "Nickname" for the silver and red ohio team:
Here they are in the conference standing:
as they're listed as "an Ohio State University" in the standings and on their banner at the top they're called "OIHO (not OHIO) HAIRLESS NUTS." You can see that they still have the old Ohio logo and I doubt that we could change that to something for the real Charlotte team (and possibly can't change it to anything at all).
Here they are in the team selection for depth charts:
And here's their QB in the player stats screen. From this you can't tell that it's a new team at all since all you can see is the logo.
