Not a fan............ BUT, BUT Nike is on the cover as well. A sign of things to come?

I myself looked right past who it was and saw the Nike wristbands and batting gloves and smiled with hope.

Very well could be, i'm pretty sure in previous versions, if a player had nike on any of their gear on the cover, they'd remove it

Ex. No Nike sign on Cutch's gloves



Ex. No Nike sign on Lawrie's gloves



And Lawrie and Cutch both wear nike gloves, and those are clearly Nike gloves with the logo removed.

So it's very possible this year, unless it was just an oversight by whoever made the cover.

I wouldn't worry about how the cover will look next year. They did a similar thing with Cabrera last year; showing the back of his jersey when they first announced who would be on the cover. I'm sure we'll get a better version with some kind of baseball related activity.

Additionally, I think Puig is a logical choice and I'm not surprised by it at all. Remember all the pre-release things he did last year with 14?

Although, I think a Gwynn, Heyward, or Taveras cover could be in my future.

I wonder what will happen first before i die, the Indians win a championship or an Indians player on the cover? No matter, I'll get the digital copy as it is.

Hmm I hope you're right. I don't remember if the covers were the same as the previews in previous years. If they fix the pose than the choice is alright by me.

Oscar Taveras would have been a good option I think.

It should have been someone who represents the damn game, not a marketing ploy for young, crazy tweens who actually like this dingus. Hell, even his own teammates can't stand some of the stuff he does. Like I said I will go digital. No way in hell I will have this guy on a physical cover. Digital is fine too as I don't really want to be putting this game in and out all the time. Win Win I guess. Just the make the damn game competent.
