I think a lot of people are used to the back and forth pace of fifa. So here is a fix, if its too slow change it to normal. If youre not getting shots off then work on your offense. If its too easy play legendary. We are all different skill wise so technically these should be a base for your sliders.

Re: FIFA 15 OS Community Sliders
I think the community sliders are spot on, games in my BPL season are very cagey which is how it should be to be honest, when I play teams like Burnley and QPR, they defend heavily and rely on counter attacks. When I play Man City, Chelsea etc, I have to adjust my game and play a tight line and work chances out. I do believe a lot of this year is down to individual skill on the game and a lot of patience needed. The swings of momentum can sometimes feel a tad unrealistic but it happens on occasion.
As for AI teammates responding slowly, check your auto switching control, most use "Air Balls" which I think is actually broken. Use manual and just use LB/L1 to change, remember it's only needed when CPU team is on the ball, my teams have felt more alert to snatching rebounds now and I'm not wanting to launch controllers, so must be a good thing haha!Comment

Re: FIFA 15 OS Community Sliders
I'm not saying the sliders are not without fault - but I would suggest testing outside of friendlies, and in actual competitions. I test all sliders in CM's only - never in Friendlies or other game modes, I just don't think the same programming is there with friendlies/kick-off modes.Hey Matt and orion. No disrespect but I'm not feeling these sliders. I just played a game against Real Madrid. I played as Charlton. I lost 3-2 but was in no way dominated. I've posted the stats.
Something needs to be adresses. The tackling by the cpu is way off. They do not get that many in - but still manage to perform too many perfect sliding tackles. Also I think it is to easy to play my way out of defense and turn every position into an attack. Furthermore speedy players blow past cpu defenders to easy.
I liked your sliders prepatch way better.

Normal speed has turned to hyperspeed since the patch, and the one before that. I advocated the normal speed in my own slider thread and enjoyed it - but there were issues shortly after with the 2nd patch. I think you could play normal, but the Sprint Speed value @ 52 looks too herky jerky for me at that setting.I think a lot of people are used to the back and forth pace of fifa. I honestly think the defensive line brings in the issues throughout the pitch - we are forced to increase the line height as a result - which really does compress the entire pitch - thus making spots like the top of the box, quite hard to attack. I believe this is how it should be though because it's not easy to break a team right down the middle defensive third, let alone at the top of their box. Strong defenses shine this way.I think the community sliders are spot on, games in my BPL season are very cagey which is how it should be to be honest, when I play teams like Burnley and QPR, they defend heavily and rely on counter attacks. I'll update the OP with this as the test set, for now. Like you said, we are getting mixed reviews here. I'm not sure who all is testing in CM's - and who is testing in other game modes. I'm not saying that is the make or break, but the core issues are there regardless, as we are aware of:I agree guys on all(well most) fronts, work needs to be done. The problem however is the conflicting reports, mone guy says I can't get a shot off, another says he's nearly beating Madrid with Charlton, one guy says too fast, one too slow. I do however have something I've been working on, I wasn't going to post it at all, I was just going to play because I thought the community set was being well received......
Anyhow, here's what I'm using, they may be to your liking, may not be. At the least they should offer a solid base from which to tweak.
Sprint 46/46(maybe 47/47 not sure)
Acceleration: 52/52(I think the cpu may a one point boost?)
Shot Error: 52/47
Pass Error: 54/55
Shot Speed: 49/49
Pass Speed: 45/45
Injury Frequency: 62/62
Injury Severity: 30/30
GK Ability: 46/46
Marking: 60/60
Run Frequency: 30/30
Line Height: 65/65
Line Length: 42/42
Line Width: 45/45
Fullbacks: 55/55(Maybe lower, 50/50?)
First Touch Control: 65/65
So, there they are. If you do try them keep in mind, I'm not a big sprinter, so if you tend to spam the sprint button, you may need to make adjustments.
- Speed of games
- Ease in tackling the CPU
- CPU perfectly timed slide tackles
- Teammate AI response time
I'm going to address the logic, and decisions made in regards to the set that is currently posted:
Speed of games: Yes, as mentioned before - the Sprint is @ 52/52 because the defensive line was retreating back too quickly, and not reacting to the play of the ball versus going back to an automatic spot. In addition, it was also because the CPU and USER was going into jogging animations too soon - which to me was not as effective in previous title updates.
From what I understand, noone else had figured out another way to get the defensive line reacting without it on 52 - if you have, then please let us know - and don't mention custom tactics, that is a last resort.
Ease in tackling the CPU: Has to do with 1) world class 2) pass error and 3) FT control and 4) Pass speed. Compliments, if any, are the fact the reason it is easier is the CPU doesn't know what to do the ball because the marking is TOO good by the User - imagine that. The fix here is to increase the length, but will open it up a bit more - however, I think Orion's choice in 42 should work. I personally need to test this when I get my PC up again (tomorrow finally, had to reformat).
CPU Perfectly Timed slide tackles: Simply this is the FT Control + Pass Speed. Seriously, try it, put Pass Speed for User and CPU @ 1 or 5 - the tackles will be off and fouls will increase. Reason is, the CPU can't "find" the ball at the player's foot - so they go in too late (or early) with their tackling. When paired with a good speed/accel set up - this plays quite nice.
Teammate AI Response Time: I'm not sure how to address this because it's never been an issue to me, I control my players the minute the ball is in a 50/50 status. It's hard to "trust" the teammate AI to do the right thing (especially as evidenced by the defensive line's automatic reactions of retreat), so I do not entertain the though of assuming they'll go to the ball. Ginga mentioned it could be the Air Balls control setting, so that could be an answer. I use Air Balls as the switch - but again, I don't assume anyone but myself to control my teammates.Comment

Re: FIFA 15 OS Community Sliders
I tried to recreate this game earlier today and unfortunately I agree 100%
I don't think I'll ever be able to play on slow, so I'll have to find a work around.
If you have any suggestions Matt I'm all earsComment

Re: FIFA 15 OS Community Sliders
I understand about normal. I play on slow and I have no issues scoring with these sliders. My scores my last 5 games have been 3-3 D, 2-1 W, 2-4 L, 2-1 W, 4-2 W in my seattle sounders cm. Its hard as hell to get a clean sheet though but thats how it should be.I'm not saying the sliders are not without fault - but I would suggest testing outside of friendlies, and in actual competitions. Re: FIFA 15 OS Community Sliders
I personally am not seeing any issues that are outstanding, I can't go low on sprint because that jogging animation is just the worst - as if the defenders or players tracking back, just don't give a flying you know what. Just my personal preference, but I would like someone tracking back or trying to defend to actually appear to be trying.I understand about normal. I believe FT control could go lower, but haven't tested. I might even adjust line length discrepancy to see what comes of it. I think the set plays fine, but can definitely get some improvement. The basis of the mixed reviews we have gotten has just proven that it will come down to play style. Itching to get in some games tonight, I hope.Comment

Re: FIFA 15 OS Community Sliders
Ok cool cuz im also not seeing any issues either. I think the set plays great man! And its true it comes down to style and what you want out of the game. Some people are just used to the fast pace up and down style that fifa plays. Some people like when they feel dominate every game and score at will.I personally am not seeing any issues that are outstanding, I can't go low on sprint because that jogging animation is just the worst - as if the defenders or players tracking back, just don't give a flying you know what. I just played an away game and lost 4-0. Got absolutely dominated the whole game, I had 7 shots total with 1 on target. They had 10 with 6 on target. I just couldn't get anything flowing, they get two pks I'm down early and just couldn't recover. And you know what? Im not mad one bit because the game played how it should.Last edited by NightRaven3; 12-11-2014, 10:54 PM.Comment

Re: FIFA 15 OS Community Sliders
Finally, was in the middle of the reformat when our power went out in the apartment - not cool. I did a complete reinstall of FIFA (again) and for some reason, it started working again. I thought my OS was just in bad shape, or video card was fried - but tis was not the case. Reinstalling FIFA as we speak - which means downloading through Origin, so another 4 hours lmao. Friday is the night though!
Yeah, we might have to just have two sets - I'm fine with that. I like the lower instances (it still happens on occasion) of the jogging animation because I just cannot stand it, lol. The game still provides a challenge, and like Ginga had said, every single match is different. You can dominate one match, before being at the CPU's mercy in another. I would like to see if I can get the CPU to be "quicker" with the ball at their feet - and result in a more strategic build up - but not sure what values to look at. I feel like almost a week without FIFA is starting to take its toll - thankfully I have 3 hours and 50 mins left to at least sneak in one match.Ok cool cuz im also not seeing any issues either. Re: FIFA 15 OS Community Sliders
I was wondering if increasing shot speed would trigger the cpu to take more shots (especially from outside the box) rather than pass it forward. Does anyone know if this could be case?Comment
