Another 948 MB update file

Just turned the game on and there is another 948 MB update available. Anyone have any idea what this entails? WTF?

Yes, mine is updating as we speak as well. Also curious about this and the fact that it's the same size as the last one? I know the Xb1 patch was made available today so hoping this is not an error.

When you get a chance to play WTF, pay attention to your defense. First game I played I was unable to remove my defense from "zone defense." And tell your in laws nba live comes first!! Lol

Nah, I'm playing man defense. I'd restart the console. Playing so smooth. It's v1.04.

Was the previous patch of the same size v 1.03? Haven't paid attention to version number.

Your right WTF. Apparently, I must have accidentally changed my defense to zone because I restarted the game and everything is fine. And you're right, it is playing so much smoother. This game is getting better and better! Can you check Clay Thompson's hair? On my system his hair is all screwed up since the first update before this one.

It would be nice if EA actually updated the patch notes on the actual system.



You can't just say 'minor bug fixes' to the customers who've handed over $60.

Another 948 MB update file

I am LOVING both the recent patches on the PS4 version thus far. This latest one seems to have added some different animations, more realistic shot selection/FG% (for both user AND CPU), a few more added signature shots/actions for certain stars/superstars, and the overall smoothness of the game is unreal. I literally have had NO hiccups or weird animations after the first 3 hours of playing after the latest patch installed.

This game was fun BEFORE all of the updates, but is now a legit contender next to the "other one" that was released a little bit before it earlier this year. IF another "big" patch/update is in the works and continues to improve upon an already stellar title, I may never touch any other b-ball game BUT Live again (unless they somehow manage to take two steps back somehow in the near future).

Keep up the phenomenal work over there at EA on the "Live" front, fellas. I've already convinced three of my buddies to pick up this game for the holidays after these latest updates. 👌👍
