I played 3 games Hall of fame/Default and thank God for this patch. If you were good at defense before the patch it will practically be impossible to lose. All the cheese mid range shots are gone, heck they don't even take those anymore really. The baseline cheese is GONE, the transition fade away cheese is GONE, the under the basket I pressed Y twice but didn't jump cheese is GONE. The CPU take wild threes sometimes in heat check situations I love that. No more 61% fg even tho you played smothering D all game. This patch made this the most realistic 2k of all-time but aye 2k? CAN WE GET A SORRY FOR THE WAIT PACK OR SOMETHIN LOLComment

Just played my first game in the Park.
Defense is definitely improved...blocking makes sense. No more strips left and right. Can't just shoot like you're in practice...but ...
The scumbag I was playing was still zig zag cheesing and it was working to an extent. Made me just shake my head.I don't wanna be Jordan, I don't wanna be Bird or Isiah, I don't wanna be any of those guys.
I want to look in the mirror and say I did it my way.

Today is my birthday.
On one hand, I'm ecstatic that it finally dropped, on my birthday of all days.
On the other hand, I can't play the patched version all day, because apparently, staying in my room and playing 2k all day on my birthday is 'disrespectful'

If it weren't for that thread I think many of us would have lost ours minds due to the lack of communication from 2k. some of that stuff you mentioned is not fixed. Still being held down by weights when I press the block button, and to be honest since this last time I played this game it feels like I have less control of my player. While playing offence I feel like my inputs are delayed when doing crossovers, spins, behind the backs,ect.Comment

I can't seem to figure out how to download the patch. Normally, I'd just start up the game and it would automatically do so but nothing! Can anybody help?

I fully understand the frustration of all of you, I've read dozens of posts the past weeks but all this inevitably reminded me how PC customers/consumers were treated from 2k9-2k14. Back then PC users were pirates, small community based on sales, "cheap" customers because the game was priced 19.99$ etc. and they didn't deserve a patch until March/April or a patch at all (2k14).
Sorry for going bitter and off-topic.
Again enjoy the best gameplay in a 2k game!
