MLB 14 or MLB 13

Recently purchased a PS3 due to the price drop. I've always had a 360 but the 2k baseball games are **** and I wanted to finally play The Show. Wondering if it's worth paying the extra money to get MLB 14 or if MLB 13 is sufficient. Not too fussed about updated rosters as I can do that myself/download them.

I would get 14. Look around it is cheap enough.

14. When you get around to get 15, you can continue your franchise.
Can't do that with 13. Of course the best thing to do is pick'em both up

What would be the point of picking both up if you can't continue your franchise with 13?

I'm still playing a season with NYY in 13,40 games in, when ever I can squeeze in a game, I'm trying to get Mariano one more ring.
Same way with 12, I'm just starting the month of August with the Braves looking for another ring for Chipper. Looks like I'm fail at that, not even close to the wildcard.
If money was an issue then I'd say pass on old games, but then again they can be great bargains. So...

MLB 14 is the way to go.

I played almost a full season in MLB 13 and don't get me wrong the game is very nice and you can't go wrong with it but in MLB 14 the presentation is a lot better and the graphics are as good as any sports game I've seen on the PS3.

Coming from 2k myself, I'd buy 13' hands down. (I had 14' and went back.) 14' has some decided advantages but 13' is more "organic" in my not so humble opinion.

Wont go wrong with either, both are great games, but I would go with 14. 14 is more polished, and some improved animations, and it has quick counts. Quick Counts was the seller for me, last yr, cause I had planned to keep 13 since it was so good, but quick counts just helps tremendously. IM a franchise guy only and Im OCD about stats, and QC made it so I was able to get my walks up to a realistic number, where as before I would get ansy and be to much of a free swinger, and QC fixed that for me. PLus I likfe to play all my games, or most along with playing a lot of my minor league teams games, and QC saves roughly a hour of time per game, if you don't X thru cut scenes, and Im one that wont X thru cut scenes. Also 14 you still have online connection to get updated rosters, where as 13 is shut off.
