There is no way to invite friends directly to you game on PS4/Xbox One. You all have to press "search" at the same time and hope that you wind up in the same game, which isn't very reliable.

Even if you're lucky enough to get everyone inside the same game room, there will still be major input lag during gameplay that makes OTP pretty much unplayable on PS4.

So I don't recommend getting the PS4 version if you want to play OTP. Just stick with the PS3 version.

EA also removed the ability to take local guests with you into online versus games on PS4/Xbox One. So if you have friends at your house, you can only play against each other or against the CPU.
