College Football Playoff Final: Oregon vs. Ohio State (1-12-15)

7:30 CST on ESPN.

For the first time ever in college football, we'll be able to claim a proper national champion and I could not be any more excited. We have Ohio State bringing in the tradition and history that college football is known for and we have Oregon, who is know for being a relative upstart and has a tendency to do things their own way, lead by Heisman trophy winner Marcus Mariota.

The game is going to be amazing and it has been amazing talking about it with you all. It's been a fun season but then again, when is a season not fun? This is the greatest sport on Earth and it's finally getting the ending it deserves.

One of my Duck friends from college who went to Oregon (part of the reason why I started cheering for UO) said as long as I give her a place to stay so she doesn't have to get a hotel (I live in Houston, she could just fly in to Dallas) and drive up to the game with her (so she won't have to get a rental), said she'll pitch in towards my ticket to the game.

Doesn't matter who wins, because it won't be Florida State or Alabama, the two teams who would've been selected under the previous system.
