Is there anyway I could possibly just setup a playoff with the current teams that is cranking up in the real world today? I doubt it, looks like all this connected franchise hogwash is only option. Any chance you all know a way to do this?? Thanks in advance

Only way I could see would be to just run exhibition games and keep your own bracket on paper. Set the depth chart the way you want it for all teams involved and either play them out, or watch the CPU slug it out.

It used to be an option back in the ps1 days and early ps2 buts its been gone 10+ years.

Thanks guys. I am pretty sure there was at least a 'playoff' game type instead of just exhibition or Superbowl within the last decade but what the heck do I know.

I wonder how many thousands of Madden buyers would like to recreate the playoffs, pathetic to think a playoff mode hasn't been added. Maybe next year for the 15th year.
