Sorry for the lack of info.

I usually control on ball. The problem is they always, ALWAYS get into the center of the zone, and will hit a free throw line jumper.

First piece of advice while playing the 2-3 zone is to play at the Center

Second piece of advice is to adjust your coach profile sliders so your team acts a certain when playing in the 2-3 D.

        hope this help a little

Well with a 2-3 Zone you want to close the middle. That means your Defensive POE should be set to Lock Down Paint.

I don't really recommend just using the center. Play on the ball but with a look at the opponent and your CPU teammates. Who is moving where. When you see an opening feel free to switch to a different player to close the gap.

If you are playing vs. a Human and using this 2-3 zone, stop being a sucka. Play man to man!

But in all seriousness, you need to read up on the rotations of a 2-3. I wouldn't say use the CENTER, but I would suggest NOT changing players during the play. You have to know the rotations of a 2-3 zone. If you are one of the guards, and the ball is on the opposite wing, you should go to the strong side elbow to replace your backcourt mate's position.

Just read up. Know all of your rotations

This article discusses the basketball 2-3 zone defense, probably the most often used zone defense - from Coach's Clipboard Basketball Coaching.

Ok. Study the links. Most people I see playing zone don't understand where they should place their defender when the ball isn't at the top of the key.

Also know that you will be giving up many more offensive rebounds out of a zone
