    Britt Assombalonga Over-Exceeded Potential.

So I had a quick game of my career mode, Nott'm Forest. Played a few games and Britt Assombalonga grew one point for me http://imgur.com/0mclnui

On SoFIFA his potential is 80 OVR, he's grown an extra 8 points, to me that's insane! I'm so happy. I play him pretty much every game and have done since I started my Forest career. He was the guy I wanted to build the team around and so far, it's paid off, what a player!

Anyone else got any players who over-exceeded their potential?

Mate, couldn't help myself! Nah, I'm still taking a break, but I just love football. So when I watch it on TV, I get an urge to play FIFA.

But before, I was playing literally 8 hours straight every day, no joke! So this break has been good, now, I just want to play the odd game here and there.

Plus I love a new challenge and someone suggested to me that I try all-manual and I've had a couple games like that, it's really good, very challenging, I like it.

Even cutting down to a couple of hours a week helps man. As for over exceeding players! I had Alfaro at Valladolid and his potential was 75 and he was 79 before I started my new career

I haven't had a career going long enough to get this, but hopefully this will happen with the Swansea one I'm doing now. Maybe with Nathan Redmond.

Aubameyang. I got him in my Milan CM, and his potential is supposed to be around 80, however two years later he was close to 90. Hasnt happened before or since. Every other time he only gotten to an 83 ovr.

I got Marco Van Ginkel up to 90. Not since, though.

Jesus how do you play eight hours a day! Do you have a job/school/girlfriend/boyfriend/guinea pig?

Haha. I have a job and a girlfriend, I go to the gym. Nah I have a social life. But maybe 8 hours was a bit excessive, like me saying that, it was probably more like 5. But still that's a lot!

Just when I finished work, couldn't be bothered to do anything and it's just easy to zone out playing FIFA.

And on my days off from work, get the gym done in the morning, nothing else planned so play FIFA!

It was a bad habit and I barely play any more. Might have a game or two today but I used to play maybe 10-15 matches in a single sitting. Bit of a waste of time, but, I enjoyed it.

I remember hearing two things about this on Sofifa.

One is the player is glitched as you can loan them out and recall to get potentiomal up or if you buy a player their potential can be changed when they join your team.

Second since you didn't buy or loan him is potential is just a guide and if player plays a bunch of games and does well you can get him to a max 8-9 above potential ..guess just like real life potential is never a given as you have busts as well as overachievers..

My favorite example of this is Goncalo Guedes. I bought him pretty cheap as a 17 or 18 year old, I think he was 67 with 80 potential. Now, at 22, he's already 84 and still growing strong. Plus, he's growing in the right places. His acceleration and speed are both in the 90s, passes great, finishes great. Not much of a defender, but I make him play defense anyway!
