Hello all, I am building a website that will permanently showcase and host all classic rosters for old sports games, a free database with descriptions and visual previews for everyone to preserve these rosters in one place. Many of you have Pm'd me and also expressed interest in this. We hope to have rosters dating all the way back to 2002. I've began with my own collection, most of which I'd like to also in time collect Next Gen rosters, because eventually those two will become "retro", and while I doubt we will be going back years from now with an urge to play some classic NBA Live 13 with rosters, who knows. MLB The Show 14 has a long list of rosters in the span of only 1 year I'd like to spotlight and preserve. I decided now is an important time to do this because
1) With many Next Gen sports games not hitting their mark, and seemingly disintegrating year by year with more backward steps than forward, more and more are actually going back in time to replay old sports games, or discover them for the first time. It's a testament to both the re-playability of some of our favorite sports classic, and an indictment of that the current releases have not pushed us forward permanently.
2) While the convenience of 2kshare, Roster Share, and EALocker is obvious, the major drawback is that when they decide to pull the plug on their server after a year, all user content goes bye bye. It has seemed to make old fashioned roster sharing through online links nearly extinct. We've lost alot of great rosters over the years because of this.
So we need your help gathering the best rosters still available for MLB The Show (or otherwise)
Were looking for PS4 Saves, Ps3 Saves, and PS2 Saves in PS3 PSV Format. Please share them here, or PM them. Include as much info as possible, descriptions, authors, date. Thank you!
