With these new signings the Simppu empire will prosper just like it did at Hertha. Sad to see Chicharito get benched, but at least you're replacing him with a world class winger like Gareth Bale who has been linked to United I don't know how many times already. I'm surprised you didn't bring Ronaldo actually. I also liked the Alaba signing. I've never used him before but his ability to play almost everywhere on the field is amazing. Is he the guy that hasn't received a yellow card like in 3 years? If so, even better. Congratulations on winning the SuperCopa! The first of many trophies this season.

And of course, rest in peace Junior Malanda.

Çiftçi! What was that, 6 goals in 4 games? What a beast for you even more so when he's scoring the winner or the late equalizer. I can't believe the season is almost over already. It feels like you barely started it this week! You adapted to legendary in the Bundesliga 2 extremely well, despite the rocky start, and now look at you. 1st place and with a good advantage. The league title has to be yours and I'm really looking forward to seeing St. Pauli in the Bundesliga!

How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

        December 2014 - Season 1
        FIFA 15 (PS4)

Copa Del Rey - Round of 32 (1st Leg)
        Cordoba CF 0 - 2 CA Osasuna
        OSA: Torres 73' Onwu 86'
        COR: Crespo RED CARD 14'
Osasuna's biggest challenge of the season so far finally came and it began just as expected, with Cordoba pushing high up the pitch and Osasuna defending for their lives. The Basques tried to get the ball forward and get some rest by holding possession with a slow build up play, but Cordoba were marking so tight that it was difficult for Osasuna to even get the ball past midfield. Because of Cadamuro's absence due to injury, Oier was moved back to LB and Camarasa took Oier's spot at RCM. Osasuna found a light in the 14th minute though, as Sisi controlled a pass at the midfield line with his back towards goal, and Cordoba's LB Crespo took him down with a slide tackle from behind just when the ball was reaching Sisi. The referee called the foul right away, but then took the extra step and also gave Crespo a direct red card. Even with one man down, Cordoba were still the most dangerous on the field and we couldn't even tell that Osasuna had an extra player as they held on for dear life. Riesgo showed his class again by making vital saves to keep his team in the match. It wasn't until the 73rd minute that Osasuna finally found their break through as Roberto Torres received a through ball into the box and took a first time shot that went past the goalkeeper. Finally, Osasuna had taken advantage of their extra man. Cordoba tried to push forward and equalize the match, but going all out attack is already risky enough not to mention they were a man down. The risk proved costly as Julian Luque, who had been substituted in during the second half, found space to run down the left flank and then crossed the ball into the box to find Manuel Onwu, also substituted in during the second half, who then sent a strong header past the goalkeeper to give his team the 2-0 lead, and a comfortable aggregate going into the 2nd leg. After the final whistle the Cordoba players complained to the referee as they felt he ultimately decided the match with the early red card.

        CA Osasuna (B-Team) 0 - 0 FC Barcelona B
The Osasuna B team defended well but the attack wasn't able to put up their end of the bargain. The match was still entertaining though, especially as we saw the Barcelona B team playing long and fancy passes reflecting their parent club. We could definitely see some future stars on the field but the Osasuna players were able to hold them. Chavez dropped the 5-3-1-1 during the second half and instead switched to the 4-3-3 that is being used by the first team. The change didn't bring any immediate results and the Basques were still unable to get through the Catalan defense.

        CA Osasuna 0 - 2 CD Mirandes
MIR: Pedro 7' Martinez PEN 90'
After a scoreless draw with Barcelona B, Osasuna get another bad result but this time at the hands of the team in 20th place, who defeated the league leaders by a decisive scoreline. Osasuna were victims of an early from which they couldn't recover from. Then in the final minutes of the match a penalty gets called against Osasuna after a pointless tackle by Cadamuro inside the box. Mirandes' Martinez sent the penalty shot straight down the middle while Osasuna's Riesgo dove to the left. The match ended 2-0 and Osasuna began to let their league leadership slip.

Copa Del Rey - Round of 32 (2nd Leg)
        CA Osasuna 1(3) - 0(0) Cordoba CF
        OSA: Guillermo 86'
This match was the complete opposite of the first leg, with Osasuna taking control of possession in front of their home fans. We expected Cordoba to make a comeback now that they will be playing 11 vs 11, especially since in the first leg they dominated the match before getting a red card, but Osasuna were much stronger at home and Cordoba never really looked like they were coming back. The match ended in the 86th minute when Guillermo gave Osasuna the 3-0 advantage on aggregate, ending any possibilities for Cordoba to get back into the game. Osasuna are through to the Copa Del Rey Round of 16!

        Real Zaragoza 1 - 2 CA Osasuna (B-Team)
        OSA: J. Garcia 2' Loe 45'
        ZAR: Borja 33'
After getting only 1 point out of 6 in the league so far this month, Osasuna were able to end December with a win that keeps them in an automatic promotion spot on the table. Chavez didn't use the 5-3-1-1 formation with the B team anymore, and instead fielded a 4-1-3-2 with the CAM Jose Garcia moved up to left striker. We weren't sure how the move would work out for the young 17 year old who stands at 5'7", but he immediately proved he can handle it by scoring an early goal in barely the 2nd minute. Garcia received the ball at the edge of the box, and took a shot to the goalkeeper's far post and into the net. Real Zaragoza would equalize the match in the 33rd minute, but the Cameroon international Loe would put Osasuna back in the lead right before halftime. Loe is tasked with patrolling the area in front of the back line, but he is also very involved in the attacks. It may frustrate Chavez at times, given Loe's lack of speed to get back to his position, but Chavez can't complain this time as Loe powered a long shot into the back of the net to give his team the victory.

CA Osasuna Player of The Month

CM - Javad Nekounam (Iran) (74 OVR 34yrs)
The Iranian midfielder had a great month, effectively holding the midfield together allowing Roberto Torres to roam the pitch freely. Nekounam was a target for many European clubs after his performance at the 2006 World Cup with Iran, and he became the first Iranian player to join a Spanish club after signing with Osasuna. Nekounam would eventually leave Osasuna to return to Iran for a record fee, but then returned to Osasuna a few years later. Nekounam had a rough start to the season finding it difficult to adjust to Chavez's style of play, but this month he improved his form and helped intercept many attacking plays from the opponents.

        Press Conference

Mr. Chavez, now that we are approaching the transfer window would you be able to share with us the players you have in mind to bring to Osasuna?

"Hi good morning. Unfortunately, no. I would prefer not to disclose anything yet due to my experience with the last transfer window here in Spain."

        Could you elaborate, please?

        "Well, Chico right?"

        Yes.

"Before the last transfer window I mentioned that we would be going for Spanish players. Then, coincidentally, the value of all Spanish players increased when we approached them. For some clubs I understand that that's not a problem, but for us who are rebuilding at the moment we can't afford large prices especially when we know that the player isn't actually valued at that price. So this time, I'd rather not say too much about the players we intend to bring in."

You have drawn Getafe CF in the Copa del Rey Round of 16. How will you approach that match now that you have dropped down to 2nd place in the league?

"The same way we approached the match against Cordoba. We want to show that we have what it takes to compete in La Liga. Getafe will certainly be a difficult opponent, but I believe the match is winnable. The players are motivated and with that we are already on the right foot. We won't be losing focus on the league though. I'm positive we have the squad to compete in both tournaments."

        Thank you Mr. Chavez.

        December Headlines

        Miguel De Las Cuevas' Form

The 28 year old CAM (72 OVR) has been disappointing so far this season, as he adjusts to playing as a LW. His role in the club is to cut into the box and take a shot, which he has done, but the Spanish midfielder has yet to find the net and has been unable to get his marker off him in more than a few matches. Going into the transfer window Cuevas must be worried that he may be replaced if he doesn't improve his form. The player has recently signed a new contract with the club and is one of the highest earners, so he needs to show why he earns that much if he wants to stay with Los Rojillos.

Javad Nekounam and Jordan Loties Transfer Listed
It is official, CA Osasuna have transfer listed the Iranian midfielder Nekounam (74 OVR 34yrs) and the French centre back Jordan Loties (71 OVR 30yrs). It is very surprising to see two definite starters from the club be transfer listed, but Chavez and his staff may be trying to free up some money, since Loties and Nekounam are two of the highest earning players at the club with wages of $25,000 and $35,000 respectively. The highest earning player at the club is the Algerian defender Llassine Cadamuro who earns $50,000 but he was brought in on loan from RCD Espanyol with no option to buy before Chavez was signed as manager. This transfer window already looks to be more productive for Osasuna than it was in the summer.

        Conclusion
My current budget is only $490k after the cup prize money so I don't have much to work with in the transfer window. Not to mention I also have a 700k option to buy on Julian Luque that I still haven't decided if I will go through with, so I want to at least have that amount left in funds when the season ends. Going into the transfer window, I can already tell that it will be just as difficult to sign players as it was last time. I wasn't kidding when I mentioned that other teams are raising their prices. I think the most smooth transaction I've had was when I brought in Marcos Alonso but that was from an Italian club not a Spanish club. Even the pre-contract expiry players want more money! It makes sense though as I'm sure players would want at least a pay raise if they are going to a Liga Adelante club. It disappoints me that I haven't been able to get a youth academy up and running, but I just can't afford it. After the transfer window I might check out how much a 1 star scout charges so I could at least bring in that to get it started.

We are ready to get the transfer window started. I hope you enjoyed the update, any feedback is appreciated of course.
        Thanks For Reading!

          STP - Çiftçi 17', 39'
          AAL - Hofmann 45'
          MOTM: Çiftçi

Storm advanced the ball down the left wing before sending in a cross to the center of the box that Çiftçi was able to rise up and head home for the lead. Çiftçi then received the ball just past midfield on the counter and was able to use his pace to blow past the back line and hit a left footed shot to the far right post. Just before half Hofmann received the ball to the left of the goal and sent his defender the wrong way before firing a shot inside the near post to cut the lead in half.

FC Ingolstadt 0 - FC St. Pauli 0
          MOTM: Tschauner

Ingolstadt won the possession battle but both sides were still able to put 5 shots on goal each. Both keepers were up to the challenge though and the match remained scoreless. St. Pauli played most of the game down a man after Wolf was red carded in his senior debut in the 38th minute for a tackle from behind.

          League Table

Golden Boot: Nadir Ciftci - 18 goals (FC St. Pauli)

Golden Glove: Philipp Tschauner - 12 clean sheets (FC St. Pauli)

St. Pauli Player of the Month

          Nadir Çiftçi

Çiftçi led the charge in the game that secured the league title this month. Scoring two goals in the one match he took part in, he proved that he was capable of carrying the scoring load and went on the win the Golden Boot for the league as well.

          Press Conference
Q: Congratulations on a wonderful season and taking home the league title. Many doubted you early, but you proved all wrong in the end. What can you say about your first season with St. Pauli?

A: Thank you. It's been an amazing season. There were times early on when I can understand why the supporters would be frustrated, but I knew it was just going to take time to implement my system. Winning the league title was beyond my wildest dreams though. It is a special moment, and I couldn't be prouder of this group of players.

Q: The Bundesliga is calling now, what kind of season do you think this squad is capable of in the top tier?

A: I think we are capable of being a mid-table team. The Bundesliga is full of great teams, and I know that it won't be easy by any means. We are the kind of team that will never be an easy win though. This group fights to the end, and we will carry that mentality over regardless of the competition.

Q: What changes are in store for your squad heading into next season? Will you be looking to bring players in to upgrade the squad?

A: We have a few agreements in place to bring players over for next year already. We have the two Mak twins out of Poland who will be joining, and the center back Dustin Bomheuer. Unfortunately we couldn't reach an agreement on a contract with Gedion Zelalem and he will be returning to Arsenal. We always keep our eyes open for ways to improve and my staff and I will be evaluating our strengths and weaknesses over the coming months to prepare for our next challenge.

The new man to the club proved his worth in his first season. One of the first ever signings brought in by Bumosix, he was the best all season. He was an important factor in the defense, providing that last bit of help for the back line. When he wasn't winning tackles, he was scoring off set pieces, knocking in some long screamers, or setting up his teammates.

I will tell you one thing about Chicharito. He's still in the team because Bayern didn't want him and there weren't any offers for him. I'm sorry. I thought about buying Ronaldo for a few seconds but then I remembered what happened with Hertha. Bale and Robben are great but they aren't as overpowered as Ronaldo. Alaba has been amazing. He has about 95 pace and all of his stats are green except for two that are yellow. And yes, he is the guy who hasn't gotten a yellow in three years according to my sources.

You have been doing very well with Osasuna and I'll be urprised if you don't finish at least in second. I'm enjoying your updates a lot.

You really should've taken the Russian offer. You know, take Russia before Russia takes you. I'm disappointed in you.

also guys, as ive stated before I play home games on professional and away games on world class because ive normally used to play only on professional. The first game at home was a tie 2-2 or something, the next game away at FC St.Pauli was a 3-0 loss then i won at home 2-1. Then we started the season away and lost 5-0. then lost at home 2-1. then i tied away and won at home like 3-0. then i would lost 3-1 but i conceded a 90' minute goal so it was 2-1 most of the game with possession being at 50/50 then i went home and won 5-0 with like 60% possession in my favour then i would lose again away 3-1 but conceded a 90th minute goal again. my next game is at home and I think professional is to easy now so should i move up to world class for the rest of the season or just wait?

A game in which we dominated the first half knocking 3 goals past bottom side Hull City. Huddlestone had the first chance 4 minutes in with his long range shot going just over. Berahino scored on 17 minutes with a little dink over Cillessen after avoiding a sliding challenge with some nice footwork. Gomis provided the assist. Montero continued his good form with a goal 10 minutes later. Gomis again provided the assist linking with Berahino to create the chance for Montero. Gomis then got himself a goal to add to 2 assist when he tapped in the rebound from a saved Berahino shot. Cillessen made 2 good saves in a second half which saw a Britton chance go wide and Butland making his debut having very little to do making 4 comfortable saves. Bafétimbi Gomis picked up the Man of the Match award for his 2 assists and goal. Bartley and Amat were also solid in the CB positions.

                  Dyer 11'
                  Sanchez 36'
                  Sigurdsson 39'
                  Ings 48'
                  Fulton 74'

                  MotM: Danny Ings

Guzan made a terrible clearance from a pass and the ball went straight to Ki who knocked it down to Ings. Ings played a great ball into Dyer and he took it past Hutton with his first touch and finished with his second. Agbonlahor missed a chance before Sanchez thundered in a header off the crossbar from 6 yards. Goal line technology confirmed it had indeed crosser Fabianski's line. In response Shelvey earned a free kick 5 yards to the right of the corner of the area. He delivered it himself close to the edge of the box to where Sigurdsson had run. He controlled it with a touch and curled the volley sweetly past Guzan. Hayes jumped up with his assistants to celebrate as it flew in. Hayes must have told the team not to sit back as only 3 minutes in Ings had scored his first goal for the club, adding to his assist. High pressure led to Dyer dispossessing Senderos and getting a shot away. Ings was alert and slotted in the rebound. Bony and Benteke exchanged shots before a terrible punch by Guzan allowed Bony to cross again finding the head of Ings. Guzan reacted well saving but so did young Fulton, who came off the bench, heading in his first Premier League goal. He was absolutely ecstatic running for the comer flag immediately. Another good 3 points for Hayes' men.

                  Match 32
                  Swansea 1-0 Everton
                  Dyer 14'

                  MotM: Lukasz Fabianski

The battle for 5th spot is becoming a 3 way race with ourselves, Arsenal and Spurs. We needed to win this one to keep up the chase. Everton started brightly with a good chance from Mirallas. Dyer continued his scoring run when he put in a corner with 14 minutes gone. Britton swung in the corner won by Sigurdsson and a poor touch from Barry pushed it into the path of Dyer who put it past Howard who was motionless. Eto missed a host of chances throughout the match before being replaced by Lukaku. Fabianski was in top form too picking up Man of the Match and he along with the defense kept a clean sheet to get us 3 points against a strong Everton side. This along with draws for Arsenal (1-1 Burnley) and Spurs (1-1 Aston Villa) puts us in 5th with 6 games left to play.

                  Match 33
                  Leicester 1-1 Swansea
                  Berahino 34'
                  Vardy 55'

                  MotM: Jack Butland

Hayes fielded a weaker team with the Newcastle game in 2 days. Both sides had early chances before a beautiful ball by Tiendaili over the top to Berahino opened the scoring. Carroll got a Bruised Shoulder 5 minutes into the second half after colliding with Uloa. He was replaced by Sigurdsson. We struggled to break them down and Sigurdsson's free kick that went just over was the closest we came to scoring in the second half. Emnes got an Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury after a tackle with Morgan in the 90th minute. Gomis replaced him. It was a bad performance by the team.

                  Injury News
Marvin Emnes is out for 7 months with an Anterior Cruciate Ligament.

Tom Carroll is out for 9 days with a Bruised Shoulder.

                  Match 34
                  Newcastle 0-1 Swansea
                  Britton 19'

                  MotM: Lukasz Fabianski

Jamie's boys proved a tough test for us as we scraped a 1-0 win with a Leon Britton goal. Dyer showed some quick feet passing the ball around Santon and into the path of Britton who placed a one touch finish past Dutchman Tim Krul. Lukasz Fabianski picked up Man of the Match with 9 saves.

                  Player of the Month

                  Lukasz Fabianski

The Polish shot stopper kept 3 clean sheets and only let in 1 goal from 4 games this month earning Man of the Match on 2 occasions. The 30 year old is showing no signs of declining and competition from loanee Jack Butland has certainly helped him to perform at the highest level consistently.

                  Youth Academy

                  Elliot l'Anson - CDM/CB/LB - 55-67 Ovr - 69-85 Pot - 17
His stats lean more towards him playing in the CDM position in the future with good passing skills and attacking position. We are trying to persuade him to stay in the Academy for another month.

                  Joe Wilson - GK - 60-64 Ovr - 76-82 Pot - 17
The 6'5" 17 year old shares his first name with current England No. 1 Joe Hart and we believe he has the potential to over that title in years to come. We are also trying to talk Joe into staying in for another month.

                  Liam Dyer - RW - 64-68 Ovr - 80-86 Pot - 15
Liam has the potential to become very like Nathan Dyer in the future. He is extremely pacey and has a lot of room to grow as he is still on 15. A future star.

                  Lyle Halstead - CB - 50-56 Ovr - 68-76 Pot - 16
Lyle has settled at CB his preferred position but the 16 year old may not be good enough in the future for us and will probably be sold on. His age is also a problem as we would like him to spend another year in the Academy developing but he mightn't want to do this.

                  Matt Moore - RM - 57-61 Ovr - 70-74 Pot - 16
The Wide Midfielder has good pace, dribbling and short passing stats. He could possible play in Central Midfield if need be in the future.

                  Rhys Randall - CM - 53-59 Ovr - 72-80 Pot - 16
The 6'4" 16 year old has great marking and tackling stats. He is described as defensive minded but has good long range passing. He looks like he could be a strong, tough CDM with an eye for a pass.

                  Robbie Dempsey - CAM - 59-63 Ovr - 73-77 Pot - 16
Only recently turned 16 he is described as being technically gifted. He has all the right stats for a playmaker and looks like an ideal candidate to take over the set piece duties in the future.

                  Tom McKenzie - CAM - 53-63 Ovr - 69-81 Pot - 17
The 17 year old is described as a Winger and has the stats of winger but has decided to play at CAM.

                  Hayes Enters the International Elite

The FAI have confirmed that Patrick Hayes, current Swansea City manager, has been appointed manager of the Republic of Ireland national team with immediate effect. The Dubliner is a native Irishman who has been managing Welsh, BPL side Swansea City this season and is currently in the race for 5th spot and Europa League qualification. He will manage the national team along side his club duties. The FAI have set the following goals for Hayes to achieve with the team:

                  World Cup: Qualify
European Championships: Reach Round of 16

Hayes wasn't available to comment as he had to fly straight back to Wales in preparation for Swansea City's tie with Newcastle United.

Thanks for reading! Any feedback is appreciated!

It was the only National Team that I was going to accept for the first few seasons in this career mode. I just couldn't say no!

                        SEASON 2
                        PS4

                        Match 20

                        Newcastle 2-0 Spurs
                        Barkley 6
                        Delph 40

A great win in this game, both goals set up by the incredibly Kevin Kampl. Barkley opened the scoring, stroking in first time on the volley from Kampl's low cross. Delph then made it 2, Kampl pulling it back, a great first touch brought it past the defender and he smashed it into the top corner for his first league goal of the season. Bony came close to finding the net, curling inches wide and forcing an incredibly save from Lloris.

                        Match 21

                        Arsenal 0-2 Newcastle
                        Dzsudzsak 66
                        Dzsudzsak 90

The match didn't start well for us, down to 10 men after 20 minutes when Bony was sent off for a dangerous tackle on Ramsey. 2 footed, studs up, feet of the ground, it was an awful challenge. Oliveira then came on for Barkley and 10 minutes later he was off for Riviere with an injury to his knee. We managed to keep Arsenal at bay however and Dzsudzsak opened the scoring, tapping in at the far post from Kampl's cross. He then got his second and wrapped it up in stoppage time with an excellent goal. A brilliant triangle passing move between Kampl, Clyne and Riviere ended with Riviere flicking the ball over the top. Balasz chested it down under pressure, took one touch and smashed it past the keeper.

League Cup Semi Final Leg 1

                        Newcastle 2-1 Stoke
                        Barkley 31
                        Arnautovic 45
                        Clichy 59

Barkley opened the scoring in this game, flicking past the defender before driving hard and low into the bottom corner. Arnautovic equalised after beating Clyne before smashing into the top corner. The match was won when Clichy beat his man, moved into the box and smashed into the top corner at the near post.

                        Match 22

                        Newcastle 3-0 Wigan
                        Medel 29
                        Medel 36
                        Bony 59

Medel opened the scoring in this game with a low, driving effort into the bottom corner. His second came in a similar fashion, however it struck the inside of the post on it's way in. Wigan rarely threatened and we put the game beyond reach when Bony headed in a good cross. Unfortunately, Medel tore his groin late on and will be out for 6 weeks.

                        Match 23

                        Hull 0-2 Newcastle
                        Bony 25
                        Clichy 65

Against a Hull side who had just lost their top scorer to Hertha BSC, they were unable to threaten and Bony gave us the lead, using his power to hold up the ball before smashing beyond Adler. Clichy made it 2, once again sprinting down the left before smashing in at the near post.

Star midfielder joins on a free

Valencia and Argentina international Enzo Perez has joined Newcastle United on a pre-contract agreement. The 29 year old midfielder was sold to Valencia last season for €25 million on a 2 year deal. Newcastle attempted to sign the player with immediate effect on a cut price deal due to Medel's injury. Valencia originally suggested £4.5 million would be enough but went back on their word, leading the Northern club to approach the player directly.

League Cup Semi Final Leg 2

                        Stoke 0-1 Newcastle (1-3 agg)
                        Barkley 64
Barkley got the only goal of the game to get us in our first cup final since I became manager. A simple but classy finish, the ball whipped in hard and low, a beautiful touch to bring it to a dead stop, a touch with the outside of his boot to beat the defender and then a thunderous striker into the top corner.

                        FA Cup Round 4

                        Newcastle 2-0 Yeovil

                        Dzsudzsak 46

                        Newcastle bag Number 1 target

Newcastle United managed to pick up West Ham United and New Zealand international Winston Reid for £5.5 million in the closing hours of deadline day. After days of negotiations, the clubs finally agreed on a fee and the defender was eager to sign his contract for £45,000 a week.

@SHoward: Good to see you grab a couple wins. Looks to still be a struggle in the league though but I can tell you are picking it up. Keep it going man, cant wait to see how it turns out!

@Simppu: Wow, your team is amazing. It might just be the best collection of talent we've seen here. Really good results too, aside from that odd QPR game. This season should be interesting on how you will make use of all of these players and keep them happy.

@Cruzerr: That was a heck of a season, it was just a shame about the injuries throughout. It really is a unfortunate what happened and that you won't be able to carry this on. I voted a manager career btw, but I really enjoyed this player career so I'd be happy with any option!

@Chico: Good to see you up there in 2nd right now, but even better to see you advancing in the Copa Del Rey. I know that's where lower sides get all their money from in this game so I hope you can make a good run!

Side Note: I was staring at that Barcelona B game for a while trying to figure out how you held Barca to a 0-0 draw before I realized there was the "B" at the end haha.

@Keano: Good month and I'm really happy to see you getting into that top 5 spot! I hope you can earn either that spot when it's all said and done. Unfortunate that you couldn't get the full 3 points out of Leicester but I think you will be able to hold out.

@Jamie: You are playing really dominant right now winning every match in this update. Makes sense to see you on top of the table now creating some separation as well. Perez and Reid are great signings as well and should be able to fit really nicely into your squad. Keep it up man!

                            Everton FC 2 - 2 Manchester United
                            Barkley 62', 67'
                            Vidal 74', Bale 86'

"Disappointment. The boys looked distracted since the first minute and they played badly. The defending was terrible in Everton's goals and we need to improve. Arturo (Vidal) and Gareth (Bale) did a good job to equalise the game but a draw is not a good result."

                            Bröndby 0 - 7 Manchester United
                            Bale 23', 40', 53', Benzema 36', Rooney 48', Alaba 79', Vidal 87'

"I'm out of words. Simply everything went our way in this match and I still can't believe we netted seven past their keeper. Gareth (Bale) was once again the best player on the pitch and he was a real danger in attack. Wazza's goal was a wonderful strike from outside the box and it's good to see him on the score sheet after nine games. Sadly Arjen (Robben) got injured in the third minute and he will be out for three months. Luckily we have three good players who can replace him."

                            Bulgaria 2 - 3 Greece
                            Milanov 7', Popov 86'
                            Karelis 45', Mitroglou 64', Christodoulopoulos 89'

"It's not nice to lose a game in the last two minutes of the game but our defending was very bad. After all, the result doesn't matter because the Czechs and the Dutch drew which means that we are through to the world cup (or at least the play-off round, not sure how it works in FIFA)!"

                            Turkey 2 - 2 Bulgaria
                            Töre 37', Tosun 82'
                            Aleksandrov 69', Popov 90'

"Everyone in Bulgaria hates Turkey and we wanted to beat them in this pointless game. Sadly that didn't happen but a draw against a good Turkish side with players like Arda Turan and Hakan Calhanoglu is a good result. I still have no idea how we didn't get a penalty when our man was rugby-tackled in the box. The referee has to be blind."

                            Player of the Month

                            Gareth Bale

The summer signing Gareth Bale was the only attacker of Manchester United who reached his top level this month. He netted an incredible amount of seven goals in five games and he caused trouble to every defence he played against.

                            Hot or Not

                            Hot

                            Gareth Bale

He's the player of the month. Enough said.

                            David Alaba

David Alaba is another recent signing who has been incredible for Manchester United. The Austrian full back has been dictating the left side of the pitch. He has been everywhere on the flank without getting tired and he even got a goal in the Champions League.

                            Karim Benzema

Benzema didn't really have a great month but at least he managed to score a couple important goals. Sadly for the fans the Frenchman hasn't reach his form of last season yet.

                            Not

                            Arjen Robben

The first player of the list, and the third summer arrival, is the first 'Not' of the month. Arjen Robben scored a few goals in the month but he also missed many, many, many chances. He needs to improve and be more clinical.

                            Mats Hummels

The German centre back had a poor month at the back. He wasn't solid and he left his man unmarked often, for example twice against Everton. Hummels wasn't rock solid last season, as well.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

                              Time for some comments.

@Chico: Things are going well during those 2 months. Both were unbeaten with only 2 draws! Very nice going in the Copa Del Rey! You're putting it up to those La Liga boys. You are sitting in 2nd which isn't a bad place to be (though 1st is better! ) Guillermo is doing really well, what a find! Keep it up!

@Tex: Conrats on winning the league! van Neiff has been really good, same as he was with Exeter! Ciftci was amazing up top and Tschauner was great between the sticks. How much did you get Ciftci for? And was Tschauner already with the club? I'm looking forward to seeing how your team does against Bayern, Dortmund etc.

@Simp: Very nice transfers! Bale was a very good swap for Di Maria and has done fantastically! Alaba was a great buy too and he has plenty of years left in him yet! Robben was a bit of a gamble with his age but you'll get another season or 2 out of him! Tell me has Malanda played much for you? If so how did he do? I'm looking at CDM's for the new season and he is a possibility. Well done on getting 2 pieces of silverware already! September was also a very good month club wise (Apart from that Everton draw!) Great win against Brondby! I can see it's tough with Bulgaria but at least you have qualified anyway!

@Cruzerr: A good ending to the season before you got another injury! Terrible luck man. A nice bit of drama at the end with the phone call too! It sucks the way the game keeps crashing on you and because of that you can't continue. I really enjoyed it and the way it was written. I (think!) voted for a manager career.

@Jamie: A very dominant month! All wins is very good! Your first final! Who is it against? Perez looks like a good signing! Reid will be solid for you too.

Thanks! I was surprised that Real Madrid accepted the swap because Bale was worth a couple million more but I'm glad things worked out like they did. The reason behind signing Robben is that I wanted another winger who is world class and then I thought about the World XI and Robben. He has been linked with Man United so I decided to check if he's still highly rated and he was. I know that I won't be staying with ManU for more than a season so I just bought him.

Malanda played in two or three games, I'm not sure. He did well but I'm afraid that he'll start suffering from the Rode syndrome (which means that a CDM will play in the beginning well and after that he'll become terrible and too attacking-minded) but if that happens he will be in the 'Not' section.

I really hope I have qualified with Bulgaria because I'm not sure if I could beat a good team in a playoff round. There aren't any international fixtures apart from friendlies in my calendar so I'm positive.
