2K Offering Refunds on NBA 2K15 MyCAREER Shoe Equipping Issue

For those of you having issues equipping shoes in NBA 2K15 MyCAREER mode, @2KSupport has mentioned on Twitter, to contact them for a refund.

For those of you unaware of the issue. Players are equipping their shoes in MyCAREER mode and they appear to be fine in MyPARK and in the Jordan Rec Center, but they do not appear when playing MyCAREER NBA games. iPodKingCarter has a video explanation here.

This news could mean that the issue will not be fixed, but that has not been confirmed. In the meantime, 2K wants to be sure everyone gets their refund. Give it a shot and let us know how it goes.

Pretty hard sell at least for me that nobody knew of this issue before the game was "finished". Added to that, nobody said anything about it, then it's possible it's an issue that wont be fixed. It's annoying. Nothing with video games is big deal because... they're video games. But while there's more shoes than ever in the game, and a longer route to be able to wear them, it's annoying that 1 - that problem exists and 2 - it still exists.

This issue didn't arrive until Patch #3 dropped. But I understand the frustration.

This is really disappointing, 2K has been extremely frustrating for me over the last two games. I'm not shoving any more money towards that development team.

Oh. Excuse me for being confused. I heard about it soon after it was released, then experienced it myself quite awhile ago. But I'll take your word for it.

2k really gets on my nerves with the vc grubbing.you get 500 vc for a game usaully....everything cost 5,000 to 9,000 vc its ridiculous,i geuss people dont say much because they make a decent game still to this day your lucky to even get a team up match up it usaully shows a error but who care as long as people are buying packs.fk you 2k and i play the hell out of the game on ps4 but thats how i really feel.

The frustrating part for me is that I cannot equip or change shoes or any any equipment in any mode. I can't create a custom roster because none of my edits save, this news leaves me extremely disappointed as it appears that 2k's attempt at appeasing us by offering something that costs them nothing, let's remember we are talking about virtual currency here, is a very poor compensation for the real currency we give in exchange for an faulty product.
I love playing these games, I'm not here to bash the superiority of 2k15, I'm just angry that something so integral to the game in terms of detail and realism is rendered obsolete due to the amount of attention paid to other aspects of the game. Plus, I have so many created shoes it sucks I can't actually equip them !

Refunding VC is nice and all, but how about, ya know...actually FIXING the issue? That would probably be the best thing to do...

I don't think they would be refunding VC if they planned on fixing the show problem.

How do I get new shoes for my player in MyCareer? I can buy some that I can wear at the park, but what about real games? All I have is those generic ones.

Disappointed with the refund announcement for kicks - this reinforces my initial instinct that 2k was not going to fix this issue.

Hope still exists that the fix will be a hard reset which is why they will be offering refunds but echos from past pc patch behavior is stonger today than it was before.

Once you get your commercial you should be able to "view endorsement" to equip that specific pair. Be sure to design a shoe you like!
