The title of this thread is pretty self explanatory.

Klay Thompson Historic Night and 2K15 Shot Fatigue
I think it would probably be a 1 in 20,000 shot.....probably like it is in 2K.

Re: Klay Thompson Historic Night and 2K15 Shot Fatigue
Shot fatigue system is a must to keep the game from being NBA JAM. What Klay did cannot be reasonably re-created in a video game, or real life, possibly ever again. The odds of something happening again are pretty much "none".Last edited by cmsky80; 01-24-2015, 09:34 AM.Comment

Re: Klay Thompson Historic Night and 2K15 Shot Fatigue
it should be tweaked, Klay shot lights out, maybe a new badge in 2k16 that allows a player a lesser percentage of hitting the shot fatigue so quick, or the higher the player offensive consistency, the slower it is to hit that shot fatigue, not say he should hit every contested shot, but when the momentum is on your side and your player is feeling it and has had many wide open shots, he should make the basket. I know people are going to complain about how it will make some players overpowering and such, but here's something you can do.. play some damn defense on the guy and make adjustments. I'm all about having this shot fatigue thing being reworked and tweakedComment

Re: Klay Thompson Historic Night and 2K15 Shot Fatigue
he only took 13 shots in the 3rd, 25 for the game. that's not really enough for shot fatigue to matter. I think you could replicate his performance, but only if he was left open for pretty much every shot. you're not making contested 3's like Klay was, if you could there would be no way to stop cheesers.
this is a MyTeam RTTP game I had against a zone user where they actually let me make open shots.

Re: Klay Thompson Historic Night and 2K15 Shot Fatigue
Like they said, how many times do people hit over 20 in a quarter?
I agree it's dumb if you're hitting all your shots and you get "tired" and start missing (still open) shots..happens in My Career all the time..I mean it's still a game at the end of the day.
But that's over the span of 4 quarters...not just 1. I think it makes sense to not be able to jack 20 shots in a quarter and not get tired.I don't wanna be Jordan, I don't wanna be Bird or Isiah, I don't wanna be any of those guys.
I want to look in the mirror and say I did it my way.

Re: Klay Thompson Historic Night and 2K15 Shot Fatigue
No other player in NBA history has ever done what Thompson did. EVER.
I consider it a good thing that it would be so difficult to replicate in 2K15.
I've had 20 point quarters before and a couple of 50 point games. No issues with shot fatigue to me.Comment

Re: Klay Thompson Historic Night and 2K15 Shot Fatigue
I played SAC@GSW in NBA today. So its a official 2k roster and i use a combination of cycloniac's and SimWorld sliders with my small tweaks. I play on All-star.
I played as GSW and was leading 16 at halftime. Curry had 18 and Klay 13 at the half. 3rd quarter started and i was thinking is it possible to get 37 with Klay. I decided to try and get few shots early and if they go in I'll continue. I made two 3pt in 29 seconds and another one 30 sec later. And it was ON!!!
I finished with 37 in the quarter missing a 3pt at the buzzer. I also missed 3 FTs.
So its possible to replay Klays big night!
I'll post some stats from the 3rd quarterComment
