Re: Did they adjust gameplay again with latest update?
Nick_sr, this is truly baffling to me as well. While not perfect, the game has opened up some and I'm seeing alot more missed layups when contested especially. The mid range game is present in particular with the use of screens For the user. We probably should start posting videos that show how we achieve these shots. Also, playing effective defense is crucial in forcing the cpu to engage other shooting options outside of the paint area. You have to cut off their driving lanes. I see a healthy combination of mostly inside and outside shots sprinkled with a decent amount of mid range shots from the cpu. I sometimes see more mid range shots depending on the cpu team.Last edited by Calvenn; 02-02-2015, 01:45 AM.Comment

Re: Did they adjust gameplay again with latest update?
Ye I'm noticing slot more mid range j's
Noticed the cpu is playing passing lanes along with other improvements
If they fix the post game this year n not wait until next year they will lleavea good iimpressionon pppm deciding if they should buy the game next year or not.
They seriously need to program the CPUto tthrow more lobs and add more animationsin that area.@KingTate84 on twitter.Comment

Yeah, if you guys are seeing the A.I run offense consistently and not constantly force their way inside I would definitely suggest posting it.....because I have yet to see that whether it be through my own experience of watching others....
Maybe you guys are doing something we can emulate to get the same results...Last edited by The 24th Letter; 02-02-2015, 11:15 AM.Comment

I am also seeing a few mid range shots and plenty of 3 point shots from the CPU by switching defensive strategies. The defensive strategies work very well and you have to change them throughout the game. In my game last night against Cleveland they took 33 shots from behind the arc because of my settings! Couldn't stop JR. The problem is the majority of the CPU scoring is layups because pretty much everything else is contested and if it's contested it's very rare that it's going in.
I don't think the layup percentages need to be tweaked, it's the contested shot percentage that needs to be looked at because the only shots that go in from outside the paint are when the shooter is wiiiiiide open.
As I've said, I know the game isn't as deep as 2K, but I like the graphics and player movement much more and the gameplay with a few minor adjustments can be solid...and that's without gameplay sliders! The defensive adjustments work and there is a solid foundation here for the future. It seems like NBA Live 15 can be fixed with a ratings adjustment.Comment

Try changing the shooting in settings to ratings only...it still requires you to release at a good release point...but basically uses the player ratings better. I've noticed some contested shots falling, more guarded shots going in...and the open shots fall more than not...you still have to work to get open...but i've been able to hit midrange jumpers with this setting changed.Comment

Re: Did they adjust gameplay again with latest update?
It's still hard to believe they could release a sports game without sliders. So many of people's complaints about this game could be fixed if they could customize the game to their liking. Live 10 had the ability to tweak contested shot percentage, steals, help defense, etc. Both the Madden (many sliders barely work) and Live team need to realize how important they are for customization and to fix their programming issues.Comment

I switched to ratings only about 5 games ago and it helps a little. Unfortunately, I still feel like I need to go inside to have a decent opportunity to score the majority of the time. In my last game the Bulls were 1 -14 from 3 point range and at least 10 of those shots would be considered open by any casual fan. I had 72 points in the point and the CPU is usually between 65-80. It's unacceptable and ridiculous, because it seems that it would be an easy fix.Comment

Re: Did they adjust gameplay again with latest update?
Haven't played a guy who Spam's the steal button in awhile but I've encountered another for of "cheese" and that's player's who turbo theirway to the back smh.
Wouldn't mind it that much if the help defense was a lot more responsive. Its seems my bigs are either out of position or late reacting smh.
Another thing, is anybody else disgusted how their opponents seem to always grab offensive rebounds?@KingTate84 on twitter.Comment
