Xbox One Gets a Bit More Supercharged Today

The Xbox One is getting a little bit more supercharged today, thanks to new software updates which will enhance the end-user experience.

The new system update will bring various improvements including quicker start-up times for controllers as well as more stable connections for the Xbox One controllers. Also, the party chat feature has seen various updates. The connection status will now be more visible in chat, with improved connectivity and game and party invitations rolling out.

Game hubs are the go-to centers for each game you own. Every game will have a hub which will show you which of your friends is playing the game, and you'll have game leaderboards along with the top broadcasts and game clips on each page. In short, they'll be like little communities for each game within the Xbox interface.

The TV functionality will also get a boost, with new features added into the experience. You will be able to see which TV shows are trending in OneGuide, and you'll have improved control of TVs, set-top boxes, and audio/video receivers.

There's a lot more, check out the full list of improvements on Xbox Wire.
