Good move for Charlotte IMO.. They could use a more consistent scoring punch like Mo. Didn't have to give up much

Deadline is in just over a week!? NHL is really behind on stuff then. Their deadline isn't even until March.

I am extremely happy that Charlotte got rid of Neal.

Not to forget Roberts will be relegated to the bench, and now have 2 guys that can actually be counted to generate a bit of offense(more so Mo as Daniels won't really get time and is pretty much a deep threat) outside of Kemba.

Fully expect one of the Nets Injured Three to be traded for trash and some sneakers by the deadline

Nets for sure need to change things up,but they should be more about cap clearing then rebuilding since Nets don't have a 2015,2016 or 2018 1st round pick. 2017 isn't in their hands.

I think only way for Nets to really turn things around is clearing cap and going after lots of free agents. With no 1st rounders,they can't build through the draft. And Atlantic has potential to be a tough division in a few years. Celtics are loaded with 1st rounders, 76ers got lots of good young players and even many 2nd round picks, Raptors with strong team right now with bright future also, though Knicks are the Knicks.

Figured that out of the original 4 prospects (Hayward, Favors, Kanter, Burks) that Kanter would be the one gone. Never really had a consistent role up until the past month or two. And with the emergence of Gobert, the writing was kind of on the wall.

Will be sad to see him go though. Great kid, excellent offensive threat and rebounder, poor defender.

Who would want to trade for him and what would Utah want in return?


I'd think they'd want another young player and that a contending team that didn't have enough center like the Clippers would make an offer

Probably want some youth or draft picks, maybe another guard or a wing. Luckily we can afford to trade Kanter, as we have Booker and Evans waiting on the bench and Gobert in the starting lineup.

Hearing Phoenix is looking for a first rounder for Dragic. Think Kanter/Burke/GSW 1st for Dragic and filler would be a nice deal, but not sure if I see Phoenix parting with Dragic.
