WWE 2K15 Showcase Review: "One More Match"

2K has released the first of its “Showcase” DLC offerings for WWE 2K15, and it is modelled after the previous two entries that shipped on the disc. In this showcase, you play through the rivalry between Randy Orton and Christian, where they battle for the World Heavyweight Championship. This showcase is available for $9.99 (ha!), or it can be bought as part of the showcase season pass, which is available for $24.99. The season pass includes all showcases and some extra DLC.

I agree with this, I'd stopped playing for a while, picked it back up when this came out, I love the gameplay of the game so just more stuff to do was awesome, but the story isn't really necessary and was really an awful choice if there's only going to be 3 DLC showcases, but I'll wait for the other 2 to pass judgment I guess

This one just felt like a bunch of exhibition matches. Not enough background and not very memorable. It felt like an excuse to just give us christian and edge. But he hasn't had anything very memorable in a while. I hope future showcases have a much more epic feel since this one was a major step down than the Punk/Cena and HHH/michaels on the disc.

I feel like they did a poor job choosing periods to focus on with the DLC. 2 feuds centric to 2011 that cost $9.99. Neither feud was all that classic. Now sure Orton and Christian had great matches in 2011 but the feud wasn't special at all. The Henry thing was probably the best they ever booked him but its not like it was a great period or anything and what could people point out as a highlight from that period anyway. Least with the Warrior pack it feels like they put in more effort with giving us new characters and not just re-skinned models that were already in the game. Thinking about in a certain way means with this pack your more or less paying $9.99 for a bunch of re-skins and THE GREAT KHALI. Needless to say I'm fairly disappointed with what they chose and hoped for much better after the HHH/Shawn and Punk/Cena stories on the disc.
