Please do it! We've been jipped more than our fair share of times by the ACC when they took over BC, Miami, and Virginia Tech over UConn, and then again when they stole Louisville. It came down to Louisville or UConn, and was decided by which football team had more promise.Check out my dynasty thread:

In my personal opinion, Notre Dame would be a better fit for the ACC. But I've also wanted to put them in the SEC. But I'm biased because I don't like independent teams. I usually move BYU to the PAC-12, Notre Dame to the ACC, and Idaho to either the Sun Belt or the MWC. Who does that leave? Army right? C-USA or maybe even the MAC, but that's a stretch. But of course you can't actually get rid of the independent "conference" in game so you'll have to leave someone in there.
In your case, that would be Army. I'm in favor of moving Army over BYU, as Army has more immediate impact on us. UConn's BYU series runs out after this season, and I'm trying to make as accurate out of conference schedules as possible in relation to real life. I have 2014 alignments in place in this dynasty, so Idaho and New Mexico State are in the Sun Belt, however with that conference at an odd number I'd definitely think of moving one (or both) back to Independents if any conference changes do come about.Check out We have a football team too..Guru's UConn Huskies in Dynasty HQ!

Ah ok. I forgot that Idaho moved to the Sun Belt too. I knew New Mexico State had joined but I always forget about Idaho. Probably because they're irrelevantCheck out my dynasty thread:

UConn breaking the top 25? Nice. Should've been expected though with those two huge winsCheck out my dynasty thread:

So it looks like UConn's heading down the same road as Tulane. Get some big wins, cash in on a conference upgrade. It makes sense though. If the game allowed more than 16 slots, I definitely would add UConn to the ACC in my dynasty. It looks like the Huskies are gonna be stuck in The (makeshift) American. For Po1soNNN's sake, at least I've got it worked out so that UConn will have a few new rivals.

I figured that would be the case. This will be a very good game...I hope.

Re: We have a football team too... Guru's UConn Huskies (NCAA 14)
WOO! February Break!! A week of 'chising!!
--------------------------------------
Get the lifeboats!
Navy racks up 421 yards rushing in upset over #25 Huskies
Keenan Reynolds (top) and DeBrandon Sanders (bottom) spearheaded Navy's phenomenal rushing attack.
Oh how the mighty can fall. So quickly. Just ask UConn.
Two weeks removed from knocking off back to back ranked opponents, and a week off a bye to prepare for the unique Navy option, UConn went out, in their home opener no less, and laid a complete goose egg.
In losing 38-21 to the 0-1 Mids, the Huskies allowed 421 yards of rush offense (469 yards total), allowed Bryant Shirreffs to be sacked 9 times, and just looked overmatched.
To be honest, once Navy jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first 6 minutes of the game, you had to assume it was going to be tough for UConn to claw back, especially after allowing 4 runs of 20 or more yards on Navy's first two drives.
While it took UConn a quarter to record a defensive stop, the Huskies actually made a game of it after that.
Shirreffs made quick work of the Navy defense on their 3rd drive, hitting Kamal Abrams, Noel Thomas, Max DeLorenzo and eventually Josh Marriner punched in the 2 yard score to put the Huskies back 7, which would be the halftime score.
With UConn receiving the ball after the half, Shirreffs, again aided by a long Abrams catch, found his way into the end zone (passing to Abrams, 5 yards) to tie the game at 14.
But, all good things must come to an end. Mids QB Keenan Reynolds, who would finish with 158 yards on 14 carries, took a 17 yard run, a 47 yard pass to Brandon Colon, then finished it off with a 15 yard run. In the blink of an eye, Navy had the lead again.
UConn got rolling again, despite a sack by A.K. Akpunku, who had a career day on the Mids D-Line, recording 7 tackles, 4 of which being sacks.
Shirreffs, on a 3rd and forever, hit Thomas on a 35 yard gain, converted another 3rd down 3 plays later, and were in striking distance to tie late in the 3rd. Shirreffs scrambled out to the left on the very next play, and was drilled by, (guess who?) Akpunku. Daniel Gonzales scooped up the ball, and Navy was back in business.
DeBrandon Sanders, who had 164 yards of his own, knocked off his biggest run of the game on their first play, going 62 yards down inside the 10, where Navy proceeded to get stuffed short of the goal and settle for the field goal.
Into the 4th quarter, Arkeel Newsome returned the kick out to the UConn 45, and Shirreffs drove UConn past midfield to the Navy 41. After a 6 yard run and Akpunku sack, Shirreffs lobbed up a lame duck for Lucas, who somehow came down with the 35 yard TD grab, pulling UConn to within 3 again.
While surviving a scare, as Newsome muffed a Navy punt (the fumble was overturned), Sanders would run in a 49 yard TD a few drives later to put Navy up 10 again.
In panic mode, Shirreffs lobbed up another lame duck, which was picked off by Maika Polamalu, granted a 5th year of eligibility at the outset of the year, and Navy walked away with a win in Connecticut, their first as members of the AAC.
Oh how the mighty fall. With another option game vs. Army next week, (!) UConn obviously has a lot to work on. Here's hoping they figure it out.

Well with one of their completions being for -5 yards, yeah I guess that makes me feel OK haha. Our pass defense has been solid this year. But we still lost... so ultimate goal failed.Last edited by thesportsguru11; 07-08-2017, 07:37 AM.Check out We have a football team too..Guru's UConn Huskies in Dynasty HQ!
