I'll preface this by saying that I play this game on PC and am running the moddingway mod so I'm not sure if something like this happens on the base game or not.

I am doing a manager mode with Orlando City and am in the fifth year. I did a quick check and four teams in the MLS have transfer budgets exceeding 100 million with several teams in the 25-50 million range now. Lots of talent moved to the MLS as well including top players from the BPL and La Liga making the MLS teams among the best clubs in the entire world. Unfortunately at Orlando the transfer budget is just 11 million so it's extremely difficult to continue to compete.

Kind of cool even though it's not even close to realistic.
