Any confirmation on classic stadiums?

Haven't been able to find out any info on classic stadiums returning. All these great improvements so I hope they add them back.

No they are not coming back and personally I don't think they ever are. Because most people probably use them and they take up a lot of time in the dev cycle. And also the money that the licenses would cost probably isn't cost effective for them. An example could be they spend 500K on getting licenses, salaries for the workers, etc. on implementing these stadiums. That's 500K they can't spend on improving such as Franchise, graphics, online, etc.

Just using 500K as a number no idea how much it takes to make these stadiums happen.

Well then, how about a new minor league ballpark with a rectangular "Polo grounds" like shape to it? I'd be okay with that!

Why would a classic stadium take any more programming time than a spring training or minor league park?

Saying they'll never have them is a bit extreme ... and only Siths speak in extremes.

It is not just a matter of programming. It is also a matter of money. I am sure that even though these parks don't exist in reality somebody owns the rights to them. That would take a lot of time,energy,man hours and money that would be better off spent in other places.

Just my opinion, though.

The ps3 MLB '14 had them. The ps4 MLB '14 didn't. The ps4 version probably won't have them again this year but the ps3 might. It's not so much a licensing issue as it is having to create the Stadiums all over again for the ps4. I could be wrong but what else could the reason be?

Take a look at my Arena and you will see the Polo Grounds in what appears to be a ps4 rendering. I say that because it looks way too crisp compared to the ps3 version.

It is a nice shot but I still think it's from 2010.
