The last thing I did was play a playoff game and exit the ML menu, same as always, since it autosaves when you do that, then turned off the xbox. Now today I find that, inexplicably, I can't play anything. Like, what? How the hell does that happen? What am I supposed to do? I played about 40 games out of the 58 or whatever it was that I set my Hawks ML to (the last one I played). As if I didn't have bad enough luck getting hacked in Steam about 10 days ago and recieving ZERO help from Steam Support, now this happens. I'm pretty pissed. Anybody else come across this phenomenon before?

Every single file corrupted
Today when I started up NBA 2K15, I was greeted with the 10 minute 'connecting to 2k servers' or whatever message. So I decided to press cancel because I don't feel like sitting there slack jawed staring at an unchanging screen forever. Then I was given message after message about files being corrupted (didn't even recognize most of them) and brought to the main menu. Then was prompted to create a new myplayer - no big deal, I could care less about MP and I've had to do that a few times before. So now I'm at the main menu, and I have five Myleague save files - every single one of them says "NO DESCRIPTION IS AVAILABLE FOR THIS SAVE GAME." where it usually gives the team name and the in-game date that you're at. When I press A to load one, it comes up with a menu that says "Syncing data. Please try again momentarily." and then the loading symbol appears at the bottom right of the screen, then disappears after 5 seconds. Nothing new happens. I press the Connect button on the main menu to connect to the 2K servers. It again comes up with the loading icon, only to throw me back to the main menu with no message. Still not connected, and my files are still corrupted. Or whatever the case is - it never actually says that the ML files are corrupted, but that's the implication.

Re: Every single file corrupted
ok...so I decided to try resetting the Xbox cache or whatever its called. Pressed the power button for 10 seconds and disconnected the power brick. This time when I loaded up the game, it connected to the 2K servers but still showed my ML files as having no description. I selected to load one...and wouldn't you know it, it loaded up the file just fine.
Weird. But I guess, if anybody comes across this issue, they know what to do now. -

I'm having the exact same problem.
I re-installed NBA2K15 because I couldn't download my online rosters-- and that "connecting to 2k servers" stayed up so long I thought it was frozen. And then I got the "corrupt file" messages. So heart-breaking.
I have my files backed on online storage, but I'm scared to try anything at this point.Comment

Re: Every single file corrupted
What you do is
When at the home screen, stay idle until the demo game starts
Watch about 2-5 minutes until the update notification pop up on the screen on the bottom left
Press X/A
You're game should start loading and updating.
After that you should be at the main menu and everything should be back to normal
You're welcome. I had the same problemComment
