If you know the Red Sox way. Then you would know Lester was gone when the regular season started. They do not want to pay pitchers over the age of 30 big bucks like Lester wanted. And Sandoval was a great signing, IMO. He allows Bogaerts to ultimately move back to SS where he should have been all season. And he takes over the ****ty Will Middlebrooks. Hanley is a question mark but he should be alright. He has a bat and as long as he can learn to play the wall he will be fine in Boston.

I'm interested in the Cardinals solely because of Jason Heyward.

I'm gonna have to go with the Cubs and Red Sox. The Cubs have a really exciting group of players to build around in addition to some veterans like Lester. I Don't think anyone for sure knows what the Cubs are going to be this season but the opportunity to break the curse is just too enticing to pass up.

The Red Sox are really interesting too because they added a fair amount of quality players this offseason to pair with their existing core and farm system. Its certainly enticing to see just how good this team can be and for how long

Tear down what? Freeman, Simmons, Teahran, and Wood haven't reached their prime yet. They've rid themselves of Medlan, Upton, Heyward, Gattis, Santana, Walden, and Harang. WHAT IS LEFT TO TEAR DOWN? Lol. Are you familiar with what the term entails. Or do you believe it's time to scrap the farm system too?

When I pick a team to play with in franchise mode it's the Phillies! I'm a diehard Phillies fan,so I really don't care about any of the other teams! Not even a option!

I really don't understand,if you are a true diehard baseball fan and a true diehard fan of a particular team,why would you even consider and or be intrigued by any other team in franchise mode. I don't get it. That's like me being as huge diehard Phillies fan which I am,but picking the New York Mets to play as in franchise mode.

Some people dont like using their favorite team. I will. But ill also start one with the Phillies cause they are garbage and KC isnt anymore. I like more of a challenge. Im also attached to certain players. There is no way in hell Mike Moustakas wont be n my team. And he could barely hit .200 last year. I couldnt care less about any other teams players so i have no issue getting rid of them when the time is right.

I absolutely adore the Cubs and follow them borderline obsessively; I cannot play as the Cubs in a franchise mode.

The main reason for this is because I have too much of an emotional attachment to the players and the team that I can't make trades as I see fit without feeling guilty about it. I also much prefer taking on a team that would be more of a challenge than the Cubs who are looking to be very good in the very near future. Not to mention the fact that I spend so much time watching and following the real life Cubs that when it comes time to play a game I'm happy to take over another club just to break it up a little bit too.

It's all in someone's personal preferences. It has nothing to do with being a "true fan" or not.

im a yankees fan and i never got the urge to play with them. i dnt like playing with rosters who r destined to be in the playoffs from the start of the season. at the same time tho i wud never consider playen with the red sox even if there roster was the most intreasting to play with.
