Cruzzer, I am sorry to hear that. Good thing is you'll be getting back on the horse! Looking forward to hearing where you will be traveling to in your next endeavor. When I first read "I got fired" I thought you had been fired like IRL. Lmao. Just thought "oh no, FIFA has claimed it's victim." Thank God it's only in-game lol

I am so jealous right now. Your fiancé is out of town all the time! When my lady goes out I completely space out and all I see in my head is FIFA-time haha. You lucky SOB. FIFA shall be played indeed. Play the crap out of it. And don't worry about the 7AM part. Is your job gonna get Deportivo to the Champions League? I don't think so! Lol just kidding don't quit your job man :P

When you have to work in the morning, what's latest time in which you say "alright I really have to go to bed now."? The earliest I ever have to work is 10AM so usually at about 2AM I force myself to press save and shut it off. Twice a week I have to work at 2PM, and on those nights I take advantage of being able to sleep in lol if my session is going really good, I'll probably shut it off at 4AM and set my alarm for 12 lol

If I had to be completely honest..... I leave at 6:30, usually get up at around 6:00. I generally try to shut it down some time between 12-1:00am. I've always had trouble going to bed early though, if I tried I would just lay there awake until about the same time anyway. So I get about 5 hours of sleep a night on weekdays, and about 8-9 on weekends.

        Spoiler
He's been immense and hasn't stopped scoring or even growing in overall. Due to his good form, his speed stats are through the roof (i'm talking 98 sprint speed and accelration!) which really helps with my formation.

Saw your October post, and that looks a bit more realistic, but I love it still. Keep doing your thing and you will be in the title chase very soon. What is the objective this season?
Haha! As i've said before, I have no idea how I'm doing so well at the moment. I have to give most of the credit to my team, it takes a lot of hard work but i don't really make them play well, they play well themselves. I might not be making sense here but I owe it all to the team and recently the fans. I wasn't lying when I said the fans have started to chant really loudly too! Sometimes it's like someone's turned the volume up whenever i have a home match!

My objective was to be in the spot above the relegation places but below mid-table. So around 13th,14th,15th, maybe but due to the recent couple of months, I'm aiming for a 10th place finish...

@sportsfreak man that really bites. Cancer is a disease that affects us all. Lost my two favorite uncles to that and my wife lost her grandpa to it. But stay strong, you will beat it. You are in my prayers.

@indiblue man that is a world wind. But I am glad you found out early. I have seen some situations in which the dad didn't know the true until the child was grown. Happened to a guy at my church. Man you did right. But it has to hurt like hell because you went from one extreme to the other, that's the difficult part. Hang in their indiblue I'm glad you let yourself vent here because you don't need to hold that in. Take all the time to get yourself straight and live a little.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

This post will not be related to FIFA by any means and I hope that we will have an interesting discussion about it. You have been warned.

I decided to go on a Youtube nostalgia trip earlier today. I listened to some old Eurovision songs, some Eastern European folklore song and some older Bulgarian songs. I decided to check some of the comments and there were a few "Proud to be *insert nation*" comments. That's when something happened inside my brain and I couldn't help but wonder what is the reason for us to be proud about our nationality?

I know that we have people from multiple countries here including the USA, India, Ireland, Estonia and Bulgaria. I'm sure that every one of you reading this post feels at least some sort of national pride because of the country you were born in, including myself. Why are we proud when we're singing our national anthems and waving our flags? Is it the history of the country or some sort of patriotic feel that is automatically there when we are born? Why are we proud about something that people who were born inside the same 1000 square miles did 200 years ago? After all it wasn't us who fought for the freedom of the country or for the rights of our people.

Don't get me wrong, I'm proud to be Bulgarian (but two of the reasons for that don't happen to be the pricks that call themselves politicians and the direction in which we are heading thanks to those thieves). I just started thinking about this and I decided to share my thoughts with you. Who knows, maybe patriotism just can't and shouldn't be explained.

It comes down to 2 psychological aspects of humanity. The first being the need to feel like you belong to something, and the second being the need to be the best. So you identify yourself with your country since it is an easy way to belong to something, and then the pride derives from the desire to be the best.

Look man, first off I am praying for you. Not to sound to preachy, but I serve a God that's bigger than cancer, so know there is a brother in Mississippi lifting you up. I just went through a year with my mother suffering from Ovarian cancer, which she is now cancer free thank God, so I know there are going to be good days and bad days. I hope you have a good support system around you where you live.

                    Transfers
                    In

Fares Bahlouli - the young French midfielder joined West Brom from Lyon. The promising youngster is hoped to be a replacement for Sessegnon in the future. His transfer fee is estimated to be £2.000.000.

Andreu Fontau - as Cruzerr was determined to strengthen the defense, another centre back was brought in from Celta Vigo. How much playing time will he get, is still undetermined, yet the fans are certain that the man is a good player for the future and for the present. Transfer fee - £3.600.000

Santiago Arias - the highly praised Columbian was brought in from PSV for £3.000.000, and out of all the transfers, he is planned to be the starting man of the team.

John Stones - a transfer day signing that certainly made headlines, as the young and very talented English defender joins the Baggies in a £4.000.000 deal.

                    Out

Gareth McAuley - the old centre back has moved to QPR for only £600.000. The idea was to make room for the younger centre backs.

Donervon Daniels, Liam O'Neil, Sebastian Blanco, Graham Dorrans, Reiss Greenidge and Callum Jones were all sent on loan to different clubs for the same reason: to give them first-team minutes and let them improve.

                    Games

                    Barclays Premier League
                    Matchday 1
                    Sunderland 1-0 West Brom

                    26' Defoe (Alverez)

First game for us in The Hawthorns. I felt pretty confident, since the gameplan was simple - defend well, string a few passes together and let one of the quicker strikers put them in. However, it was Sunderland who broke the deadlock, as a great cross into the box was well controlled by Defoe, who then hammered it in for an easy goal. My first game as the manager and we had to take a defeat.

                    MOTM: Joleon Lescott

                    Barclays Premier League
                    Matchday 2
                    West Brom 3-2 Southampton

                    2' Berahino (Ideye)
                    8' Davis (Alderweireld)
                    56' Ideye (Sessegnon)
                    71' Sessegnon (McManaman)
                    90' Mane (Pelle)

Second game for us and it wasn't going to get easier, as we went away to face Southampton, a tough team. Yet Berahino managed to bag our first goal of the season, after some good dribbling into the box.

The home team did not take long to respond, as from a corner, Alderweireld won the ball and passed it to Davis, whose shot got deflected by Foster, yet it still went in. Both teams were playing well and creating chances. The goalkeepers were the ones keeping the score the same.

Yet from a corner, West Brom got on a counter and it was Ideye, who gave the visiting the a lead. He was played through 1-on-1 with the keeper, where he finessed it into the bottom corner. The Baggies were not done, as Arias got his first assist for the team, passing it to Sessegnon, who took a wild shot that Forster saved, yet it still bounced in.

Southampton did manage to score one back, as a mistake by Foster gave Pelle the pall, who passed it to Sane for an open net goal. A 3-2 victory however was the first win for West Brom.

                    MOTM: Brown Ideye

                    Barclays Premier League
                    Matchday 3
                    West Brom 1-1 Swansea City

                    2' Ideye (Anichebe)
                    75' Sigurdsson (Oliveira)

Last game of the month was against Swansea. We were keen to continue our great form away, and with Bony and Williams leaving earlier in the month, I thought we would have a good chance. Ideye took the lead early, as he got through on goal and gave us the early lead. We were attacking well, yet couldn't score a second one. Swansea managed to tie the game up, as Sigurdsson shot it just outside the box with force. It was the only shot on target for Swansea, and it was enough to tie the game up.

                    MOTM: Brown Ideye

                    League Table

                    Players of the Month

Right, so, I wanted to continue this style of finding out the Player of the Year, so here goes the point system. I pick 3 players and give them points respectively on how they did in my opinion.

Starting from 1 point, Joleon Lescott. Was the best player in the Sunderland game and really enjoyed his presence in the back. Been the best defender next to Arias, who has shown him from a good side aswell, but hasn't been in the league too long.

2 points go to Stephane Sessegnon. Scoring a goal and being really good in the midfield, building up the play and starting most of our attacks. Obviously he is the main link in our midfield and hopefully our most impactful player this season.

3 points go to Brown Ideye. He scored two goals and also gave an assist. A pacey player, getting past defenders and really being a threat constantly.

                    My Thoughts

Why West Brom? - Honestly, I have no clue. I wanted to go back to the Premier League, yet pick a team that isn't the greatest. Burnley was also an idea, but then, I saw West Brom and figured that they are good for this career mode. A few really interesting players and I don't really regret it.

West Brom-like start - A loss, a win and a draw. Granted, I didn't expect that our one win would come against Southampton, yet this is exactly the start that I figured we would have. We are a mid-table team, and that is what the managers want aswell. Obviously that is what I am aiming for.

Berahino injured - Well, Berahino got injured in the last game against Swansea and he will be out for 6 weeks.

A pretty good transfer season - We brought in a bunch of youngsters that can really impact this team. The defense looks a lot better, which makes me a happy bunny.

So, this is the first post, I hope you enjoyed it, please, if anything, leave feedback! :P

Nice choice and I'm glad to see you having another go! You brought in some younger talents in Stones, Arias, Bahlouli and Fontau. They go along with some decent players already in the squad. The start was OK for a mid table team with a win, draw and loss. Expecting big things!

Chico I was just thinking there about your stroker question. If you go 4-4-1-1 with the CF. I'd go with Kodro as the target man striker and then Guillermo as the CF. Palacios would be an impact attacker with his pace if you are chasing games against a tired defence. Or even from the start if you are playing against a slow couple/3 CBs. Guillermo for me would be better at CF than Palacios as he would he stronger on the ball and wouldn't get knocked off as easily. Just my two cents.

Simp Great month with the only blip being the draw against Dusseldorf. Great win against Bayern and Drmic has been scoring when giving the chance buy Kalou is still the main man!

Tex March was a better month than previous without losing a game! I hope that you can hold onto 3rd spot in what would be a very successful first season!

Jamie Again a great month with all wins! Hard earned 3 points against Real and then a good Merseyside derby win to top off the month!

Cabee Appiah is the man! Amazing win against City and a thrashing against Norwich. The rest of the month wasn't too great but they were all good teams so I wouldn't worry too much about that. 8th is still a good place for a recently promoted team!

Sorry if I have forgotten anyone! A new update on Zaragoza should be up tomorrow sometime! BTW does anyone know where Rabbit went?
