Re: Claim legend card
I too would like to know this. I completed the Boston Red Sox collection but it tells me to claim legend player but there's no obvious way to do so -
Re: Claim legend card
You can get them in packs (I got 2) but I've completed 3 teams (Red Sox, Twins & Angels) and can't actually claim the card. It doesn't just appear in your player list like it should and requires you to claim it which appears to be impossible at this time.Comment

Did you buy stubs? That's crazy that you've already done all that.Comment

Re: Claim legend card
You CAN claim them. I completed the Red Sox collection last night. Literally took me two hours trying everything to find out how to claim Ted Williams...
I forget exactly how, but I'm pretty sure if you go to whatever collection it is that you've completed, click square to show all cards in the collection. Then click the legend card, and select view in market, it should then prompt you that you have claimed him. I'm pretty sure that's what I did.
NOTE: When you claim a legend, you can NOT sell back any of the cards in the collection. I wish I knew that before hand, otherwise I would have just used my stubs to buy the legend from the market place. I planned on buying all the players, collecting the legend, then selling the players back. You can't do that once you claim it.Comment

Re: Claim legend card
Just to clear some things up for others here is what all happens.
In order to redeem your Legend, you need to go to the collection and hit the options button.
It will then ask if you are willing to forfeit the option of selling your cards in order to receive the legend.
After you hit accept, you will then receive your card.
All common, bronze, silver, and gold cards that were in the collection are now account locked and can no longer be sold. Diamond tier players are still auctionable.
The biggest surprise is that all legend cards acquired through collections are account locked. They CAN NOT be sold. This is a bit unfortunate but I understand why they've done it this way.
Hope this helps guys!Comment

I really wish I knew this before going for Nolan Ryan. Now I have a 47k Beltre I don't even want. And I can't sell Ryan either.
This sucks. Looks like Beltre will play third for the rest of my time in DD because he's so expensive.Last edited by vc15; 04-03-2015, 01:36 PM.MLB 15 DD:

Nope, can't sell diamond players in the collection. It's the same as the rest.
