    How to unlock equipment?

I didnt fully complete that first intro game that somewhat explained some new features so I am sorry if this was explained then or I am just completely missing it... But how the heck do you unlock the licensed equipment and whatnot for RTTS especially? I loaded in my save from last year and had a bat and a ritual item but not quite sure how to unlock more. Thanks!

If you have some stubs you can buy some packs that will unlock some equipment or you can go to the community market and buy item there as well.

Or just play the game. Buying packs with stubs is obviously the easiest way to get some cards but I played a months worth of RTTS last night and twice a reward card popped up. I have also gotten a card for finishing a complete exhibition game. When I got my stamp for playing a second day it also came with a card (which just happened to be a Gold level glove).

As I understand it, the draw of the card is random and can be player, item or stadium.

Default packs are guaranteed to have 2 items in it in addition to the players but the items could be equipment, stadiums, or sponsorships.

The rewards for playing, as I said are random. Just last night I started the game, got my second stamp for days played and the game gave me a Gold level glove for RTTS.

Oh, also if you have any stubs you can go to the marketplace and see if you can pick up anything there.

I am making the assumption that many will post items for RTTS there and that the cost of the lower tier items will end up being pretty low when the market gets flooded.

For example, I don't have a need for a silver level glove if I have a better gold version. The only two options is to just keep the item unused or try and sell it on the marketplace for some stubs.
