2k16 MyTeam suggestions/ideas??

Any suggestions for what you would like to see in MyTeam 2k16?

My suggestions;

- Custom playbooks. It's "My" Team so why can't my team have its own Playbook?

- More comprehensive searching in the AH. Can we please search for specific badges? (I.E do a search for Lockdown Perimeter Defender).

- ALL pink diamond cards available in packs or through challenges.

- Bigger MT rewards for challenges.

- Less crappy gem cards (nobody actually wants Onyx Mo Williams do they?)

- More challenges with unrestricted teams.

- Record stats, W/L, FG%, Assists and so on.

- Throwback courts.

- Wager matches. Totally separate from RTTP. Challenge friends (or people you met online) to a game with your own restrictions (only one gold or 8 minute quarters etc) or have no restrictions at all. Wager VC/MT or players/cards. I know this will never happen because somebody would find a way to exploit it, but who cares. A guy can dream right?

- A penalty to shooting after a zig zag and when zig zagging make the player more liable to turn it over (easier to get steals).

- Improve the defense, the offensive player has the advantage constantly, its frustrating.

- Heavier bench restrictions. Don't lift restrictions until the very last seed.

Qualifier - Bronze only.
8th seed - One silver.
7th seed - Two silvers.
6th seed - Three silvers.
5th seed - One gold.
4th seed - Three players gold or gem. Bench restricted to one silver the rest bronze.
3rd seed - Three players gold or gem. Bench restricted to silvers.
2nd seed - Five players unrestricted. Bench restricted to silver.
1st seed - No restrictions.

Here's my problem with the seeding restrictions.

Say you're someone who is really bad at the game, and you spent $500 on vc. You've used that VC to purchase packs ans you are really quite skilled at playing the AH.
This person has no shot at EVER getting to the 1 seed, and thus will never be able to use their lebron-mj-kd-shaq lineup.

If they restricted seeds like that, I would suggest they also included a h2h match type with no restrictions as well.

Rttp is a damn grind, even if you're good at the game.
You have to win 50 games, and that's not even counting if you get demoted. Shouldn't force ppl to go through that to use stuff they payed for IMO

I don't see what is wrong with what you said from our perespective. Ths bad player should NOT spend 500$ in VC anyway. He already payed for the game. However I am sure that 2k doesn't see it this way thus we will continue having the same thing next year to. A pay to win game

I don't see what is wrong with what you said from our perespective. Ths bad player should NOT spend 500$ in VC anyway. He already payed for the game. However I am sure that 2k doesn't see it this way thus we will continue having the same thing next year to. A pay to win game

But if someone wants to spend their own money on the game, that's up to them. Its none of your business what decisions other people make.

That's fair.

But unless they're willing to play through the lower seeds. I suggest they play a different game mode (or just do H2H, Wagers, Domination, Challenges like I was saying)

RTTP needs a fixed difficulty settings. Personally I would like HOF/SIM. I'll settle for SS/SIM like online quick matches. What's the points of restrictions if you're going to be playing on Rookie settings in the qualifier and the 8th seed. Them bronze players are going to play above their ratings. It's going to be the same story. Three point spamming etc. This game is trash on low difficulty settings. Ridiculous shots fall and defense doesn't matter.
For most ppl the 5th seed was the most challenging not only because it was unrestricted. It was mostly because of the low difficulty setting. It hard stopping top tier cards on pro difficulty. It also ridiculous when you get matched up with someone in a different seed. Is the game being played on his seed settings or your seed settings? Are y'all playing on different settings?

Yeah. I get scared anytime I see a 'bad' all gold lineup in RTTP, mostly because those guys are usually in the 5th seed and play on what seems like Pro difficulty. It's super annoying to see them make the most ridiculous shots and get rebounds that defy the laws of physics, while you're bound to play on a much higher difficulty setting.

I feel that they should change their whole pack system. I was an avid collector of basketball cards growing up. Every set had a base set and then tons of different insert sets. When you create a set like "Dimers" then create a cool looking card to go with it. Not just a red border and a different picture. Thats boring as hell.

This gives them an opportunity to change a players ratings midseason if they improve. This also provides with them to continue to make different versions of a player and make them "noticeably" different.

Madden Ultimate Team did a great job this year with that. Another thing they do is BUNDLES!! Oh my god, bundles would be amazing, because they offer a package deal AND a topper pack that guarantees a certain type of card.

To simply put it, this mode needs a lot more depth. It seems like they've done a pretty poor job in this department since the mode came out.

Along with that, the rewards you get for RTTP need to be something really worth getting. Releasing better versions of the players you get for the top 3 seeds kinda ruins the point of playing RTTP, you should probably also at least get a gold player for beating the 4th and 5th seeds. I also think there should be overall restrictions rather than card color restrictions for the seeds. This would make those low overall emerald players have more of a purpose.

There's a bunch of other little things, but the last main thing for me is to not release cards that are worse versions of cards that have already been released. Doesn't really make sense unless you wanted to use a worse version of a card in the lower seeds or something.

The pink diamond is supposed to be the world's most rare gemstone so I'd like to see them again. I think they'd be better off like Madden does some cards, though. Madden has super rare cards that have a collector's stamp on them (For example: 4/52, meaning you have the 4th of only 52). Put out a pink diamond pack once a month or something, never the same guy twice, and have an incredibly low chance at getting it. It can be the same idea though. Pure fantasy cards.

For locker codes, give out mid-tier cards that people can't sell. Something like Onyx Artest, where it's not the best card in the game, but is a specialist card that will influence some builds of teams. Have it immune from challenge restrictions. Maybe have it removed from online use. Lots of stuff you can do with them. I don't think they've got it quite right yet.

I'd like them to fix the spacing problems...I just got destroyed by two guys playing zone and off ball double teaming. My teammates are open but by the time I swing the ball for a 3 there's the guy turboing towards me and impacts the shot enough to get an F. And there are times when my Tony gets double teamed and no one's open... like c'mon. The passing lanes are are clogged and I turn it over or jump ball. Playing with my all time spurs lineup is fun, but really aggravating at the same time.

- H2H- if i remember correctly they don't have any way to just jump into a game online other than RTTP, Should be able to jump into a game, with any lineup, any time.

-Online Tournaments with MT Prizes, Could even have special tournaments where you win a special card/ could do this with Pink diamonds/or you could win packs.

- Home and Away Jerseys - Allow all jerseys to be used for either Home or Away, its really not that hard.[add a jersey selection as well to stop any jersey clashes]

- Stop Rating players so damn high, making a gold version of a player 98-99 give you no room to add any special cards as upgrades. Best current NBA player should be no higher than 93-94

- And on the ratings point, more special players that align with the real life NBA season [Players of the Month, All NBA Teams, ROTY, MVP etc ] and only have these special players available in packs for a limited time. But do something special with the packs when released [e.g. All NBA Team Pack that has increased chance of getting one the special cards] I think they might of done this with this years all star, but not 100%.

- MT rewards for RTTP - Can still have packs, but gta have some sort of MT reward for each seed. [Have MT obtainable multiple times and packs obtainable once.]

-Sort the auction house out. Why the hell is there a refresh time? Auctions should be viewable as soon as posted.

2 words.... TRADE BLOCK!!!!!!
Also legends should have special badges that separate them from current NBA players (Demarcus Cousins should not have the same rebounding ability as Hakeem or any other legend)

Home team chooses color. Simple.
