Sponsorships?

What are they for? I have three in my franchise and get 15,000 per game, 35,000 per save, and 20,000 per win. Of what? Is this just arbitrary? What is it for?

Believe once you've set them in any or all of the three available broadcast slots it is awarded to your player / staff budget.

Played for about 6 hours last night in a test fantasy draft chise.

Won the World Series year 2 and everything. My sponsorship screen is always blank. I don't understand it

Do they only work when actually playing games out? I assume you simmed everything to advance that far?

You have to unlock the sponsorships and assign them to those blank slots yourself, they don't just appear there.

Go to your inventory and scroll over to Sponsorships and you'll see if you've unlocked any. You either pull them in card packs, or receive them as your reward from just playing the game. Or you can buy them with stubs from the community market.

Yeah, it would be nice if they told us 15,000 what per home run we're given. I just played a game and I should have been given 25,000 something for a home run. Just not sure what that something was

I believe those sponsor funds go towards your teams budget in franchise, if I understood that correctly.

FYI: Those of you who only have the Vita, there is no sponsorship feature.

I have them applied in the right places, but didn't see any indication that they had paid out at all during Spring Training games, do those count?

A friend and I both looked for any sign of where this money goes, or anything telling us we get it, and can't find them.

I'm pretty puzzled by this.

Anyone know if the CPU gets these sponsorship's as well? Seems to give the HUM a pretty unfair advantage for those wanting to run a realistic franchise.

My projected budget for the next season keeps going up now that I have all 3 applied. I'm assuming they go towards that.

The bonuses from Sponsorships accrue during the regular season and then are added to the following season's budget.

This is reassuring, because if it were anything like FIFA, the owners would pocket it and you'd get the same budget as the year before, or worse.
