I don't think the directional hitting will be harder if you played baseball throughout high school/college. It should really be helpful to identify pitch locations when trying to hit behind runners to advance them. -

no. Wouldn't make sense since the games are already much shorter. The developers mentioned this during one of the streams. They feel they would be cheating you a little since a RTTS game is already so quickComment

Re: MLB 15 The Show: Four Things You'll Want to Try
My Midnight plan is to countdown the final minute, load right away (hopefully no further download will be needed) Then I will scroll through the menus, look at rosters, player faces/stances/homerun swings. Then go through the DD cards and look at the equipment and ritual items. Then play my annual Subway Series as the Mets at Citi Field.Comment

Directional is the same thing as timing if you don't choose a direction. Not sure it'll be any harder.Comment

Re: MLB 15 The Show: Four Things You'll Want to Try
Definitely going to play an exhibition game or two to start it off so I can get used to the new directional hitting. I'll play with my favorite team, the Angels, at home versus a random team.
After that, I'll probably start up a fantasy draft Franchise mode with me getting the first pick, again as the Angels, and I'll pick Mike Trout.
Once I play a game or two of Franchise mode, I'll probably start RTTS and get going on my career.
Unfortunately, I'm not getting the game until Wednesday because I pre-ordered late, so I'm very excited for Wednesday!Comment

I'll probably just play a couple of exhibition games and maybe look at diamond dynasty. franchise and rtts can hold to rosterComment

Exibition and start tweaking sliders, probably spend a few games adjusting settings and looking for new stuff. Eventually ill import my season from 14 and that will be my whole year

I have a question, this is in regards to the lighting and shadows. When clouds pass over the field, move across the field will the leave a shadow while they are moving across the field? If that makes sense.Comment

Going to try the evening game tonight...played a daytime game yesterday it was cool - also going to give directional hitting a try, but man I better know the count and what "he may" throw because I may look foolish - I'm sure once i start the franchise I'll hear more than enough radio - hopefully i can get more than one game in tonight.MLB: Pittsburgh Pirates '90
NFL: Miami Dolphins '84
NBA: Minnesota Timberwolves ' 15
CFB: Oregon Ducks '10

The problem is, if you turn off Matt Vasgersian in Audio settings, you don't get the radio show at all -- I have the broadcasters turned off while I'm in the minor leagues so that I'm not bored of them by the time I make it to the bigs in RTTS. It's annoying that the radio show doesn't have it's own sound slider on PS4.Comment
