Year-to-Year Saves bugs
Hi all there was two or three bugs that people noticed in YTY. Could you guys please refresh my memory to what they are?Tags: None -
Re: Year-to-Year Saves bugs
There is the issue where real world players who were injured in 2014 but who had not retired from the game were being dropped from the MLB 15 game and replaced with generic names and likenesses when you attempted to migrate your Franchise/Season files from MLB 14 to MLB 15 during a Y2Y save. Plus on top of that the users were unable to modify these generically created players names or likenesses using the player editor screens. -

Re: Year-to-Year Saves bugs
Yeah, I actually just came here to find an answer about this.
In my MLB 14 RTTS imported to MLB 15 players like Aroldis Chapman, Devin Mesorocco, Matt Harvey are all missing. I am sure there are more, but they are not on a single roster.
I don't think there is a way to check FA's in RTTS, or at least I couldn't find it, so I simulated an entire season of RTTS just to get to the offseason and see if maybe these players would be signed out of FA but they did not show up so I am guessing they are completely gone.
Hopefully this can get fixed so I can start back over. I'm only about half a season in so starting back over and re-importing wouldn't be a big deal.Comment

Re: Year-to-Year Saves bugs
Hey Ramone! In my y2y save it was an in game save that was screwed up. I had saved the game in MLB 14 in the 6th inning with me up 3-0. The announcers kept talking about a no hitter even though I had hits in the saved game but none as I was playing in 15. Then after the end of the game, back to calendar to sim the rest of the days games and it simmed the one I just finished playing with a different result.Playstation Network:That70s_Gamer

Re: Year-to-Year Saves bugs
List of real world players turned into generic players after the Y2Y save? A thread in the rosters section of this OS forum was started last week.

Re: Year-to-Year Saves bugs
Note: This is not thoroughly tested but did happen to me:
Dynamic Difficulty gets overwritten. The steps to reproduce...
1. I imported a Y2Y save with a profile that had Dynamic Difficulty settings at AS+ for hitting and Veteran+ for pitching. My difficulty levels carried over into my 15 Franchise (which is awesome!).
2. I started playing like normal in 15 and had my Dynamic Difficulty levels change to AS for both pitching and hitting.
3. I imported another save file from 14 that had Dynamic Difficulty levels attached to its Profile (AS+ hitting, Veteran+ pitching) for testing purposes in 15.
The bug...
4. I went back into my 15 Franchise file and my Dynamic Difficulty levels were back to my original AS+ hitting and Veteran+ pitching.
I know this might be confusing so I can try writing it differently if you need me too. Basically, once I had established a Y2Y Franchise in 15, bringing in an old 14 save would overwrite my DD levels back to where they were in 14.
I like that it did it initially, but don't like that I can never import an old 14 save into 15 again without risking overwriting the profile.Comment

Re: Year-to-Year Saves bugs
Not really a bug per se, but would there be anyway to turn off GM contracts for continued franchises. You are locked in to GM contracts on Y2Y franchise, would be awesome to be able to disable this. I've always looked at my franchise as more of an owner role as opposed to being able to be fired as a GM.Comment

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(
